Whether you’re looking for an escape from the cold or a much-needed relaxing getaway, you deserve a sunny spring break vacation—and Kissimmee has everything you need for a truly unforgettable warm weather reprieve! With favorite theme parks and attractions, picture-perfect poolsides, and incredible dining hot-spots around every corner, there’s truly something for everyone! With so much to do, how will you decide what to include in your itinerary? Luckily, we’re here to help. Take a look at our helpful spring break one-week planning guide!

Day 1

When you arrive in Kissimmee, you deserve time to relax after your travels. After checking in to your accommodations, take a moment to kick back and recharge. If you’re arriving in the morning, perhaps consider a spa day — complete with hand and hot stone massages, body wraps, and facials. This will ensure you’re starting your vacation off on the right (refreshed and relaxed) foot. Or, make your way to Celebration Bike Rental and explore the destination on two wheels! Enjoy the area’s many biking paths with this family-fun activity. Afterward, treat your family to a delicious dinner at one of Kissimmee’s many local restaurants.

Day 2

Now that you’ve eased into your vacation with a bit of R&R, it’s time to hit the ground running and get the kids dressed and ready—because it’s theme park day! The wait is over, and it‘s time to experience the excitement of our legendary theme parks. We recommend a full day for each park you plan to visit. It may be “a small world after all,” but our theme parks are quite large! Remember to have your tickets or passes ready and prepare to enjoy a day of fun, thrills, and adventures for the entire family!

Day 3

After a packed day of theme park thrills, you may be ready for something a bit slower-paced for your third day in Kissimmee. If you enjoy hitting the links, consider an early morning tee time at one of the many world-class golf courses located right here in Kissimmee. Or, if you’re traveling with little ones, consider miniature golf! This also may be a great day to check out the arts and culture scene in Kissimmee. Take a trip to Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek and see how the people of Florida lived over 100 years ago—complete with authentic homes, schoolhouses, a train depot, and more! Or, if you’re feeling artistic, make your way to the Orlando Museum of Art, where you’ll find modern pieces as well as ancient artifacts from all over the world. After a full day of exploration, take in a magic show at The Great Magic Hall, or enjoy a few frames of family bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes.

Day 4

Day Four of your vacation is the perfect time for a little retail therapy! From bargains to name brands, there’s something to suit everyone’s style. Orlando Premium Outlets and Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores are must-stop shops for bargain hunters, while The Mall at Millenia is a fantastic retail location to find the latest and greatest! After strolling the shops, make your way to the Orlando Cat Cafe—it’s the purr-fect spot to unwind with a coffee and friendly felines that you can pet and cuddle.

Day 5

One day in the theme parks simply isn’t enough with all the world-renowned attractions and thrills to be found in Kissimmee. We’re sure the little ones will agree! Make the most of the day by waking up bright and early, grabbing some breakfast, and making your way to one of the parks for another unforgettable day of adventure! In the evening, keep the fun times rolling with a night out for the entire family at Disney Springs® or Universal CityWalk™.

Day 6

It’s Day Six already, wow!  With so much to do, it’s easy for time to fly by while in Kissimmee, but don’t worry – there’s still fun to be had! Start the morning with a trip to Wild Florida Airboats & Gator Park for a tour through Florida’s pristine wetlands. Here, you can learn more about Florida wildlife—and maybe even take an airboat ride!

If your little ones are still thinking about animals after the trip to Wild Florida, continue your animal adventure day by visiting SEA LIFE Orlando—where you can come face-to-face with more than 5,000 underwater creatures. Best of all, you’ll feel like you’re living under the sea in the immersive 360-degree ocean tunnel. Keep your eyes peeled as colorful fish swim overhead and seahorses duck beneath your feet!

From here, you’re close to many other exciting attractions—from The Museum of Illusions and Madame Tussauds Orlando and many more. Wherever you go, don’t miss the chance to ride the 400-foot-tall observation wheel at ICON Orlando! As the largest observation wheel in the eastern United States, the colorful ICON Orlando offers a 360-degree bird’s-eye view of everything Central Florida has to offer. It’s also an ideal spot to take your own “iconic” family photo!

Cap the day with dinner and a show at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. Cheer on your favorite knights while enjoying an incredible dining and entertainment experience.

Day 7

Just like that, it’s nearly time to go! During your last day in Kissimmee, we recommend taking it easy, starting with a stroll through Old Town. This tribute to a bygone era in Florida history is a wonderful spot to reflect back on a simpler time. Then, get in any final shopping you want to do (make sure you pick up some souvenirs for the folks back home!) before it’s time for the grand finale—an Orlando Magic Basketball game. See some of the greatest athletes in the world as the Magic make their way toward the playoffs and (hopefully) championship glory!

One thing’s for certain—if you want to experience all the family fun and adventure that Kissimmee has to offer, you’ll need more than a week over spring break. We suppose you’ll just have to pay us a return visit!
