Romance & Adventure: A 4-Day Kissimmee Getaway Itinerary

First thing’s first, check into your accommodations! Aliya spent her visit in Kissimmee at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. With two- and three-bedroom villas and resort rooms, they have a variety of luxurious accommodations to choose from. You can relax under a private poolside cabana and float down the lazy river, or kick it up a notch at the on-site tennis and basketball courts.

After getting settled into your spacious suite, it's time to get out and about and experience Kissimmee! First stop — honing your mini golf skills at Pirate's Cove Adventure Miniature Golf. Putt your way through tropical landscapes of lagoons, caves, and waterfalls. As you near the end of the course, you'll realize that your first day here was a real hole-in-one.

Even after a busy morning soaring over Central Florida, you'll still be up for some more adventure! Stop by Celebration and explore the area via bicycle with Celebration Bike Rental to finish off the morning. Enjoy the town's colorful streets, beautiful architecture, and maybe spot some wildlife as you ride down the scenic trails.

It's lunchtime, so make your way to The Lakeside Bar + Grill for some luxurious lakeside dining. Indulge in a flavorful sandwich or go with a lighter fare of soup, salad, or shareable. Aliya's recommendation and lunch of choice was a grilled steak with a side of Caesar salad — an all-around favorite. Set aside a bit of time after lunch to mingle at the Bohemian Lounge lakeside terrace while enjoying signature cocktails and live music. 

Next, it's time to sit back, relax, and enjoy some poolside recharging time. Head back to the resort and enjoy your afternoon in a private poolside cabana, then hitting the pool after soaking up some rays. Who knew fun in the sun could be so relaxing?

Day three begins with a unique outdoor experience gliding through Florida's wetlands and shooting through tall grass. Hop on an airboat at Boggy Creek Airboat Adventure, and take in the breathtaking beauty while spotting lots of wildlife along the way. With five different airboat adventures to choose from, there's an enjoyable experience for all.

What’s next? A little mind-fooling fun that’ll keep you on your toes! With over 50 exhibits, the Museum of Illusions at ICON Park offers fascinating showpieces. A playroom with the craziest brain bashers, an Infinity room that’ll have you shaking your head, and more puzzling fun awaits. When you leave, you're sure to be whispering, "How'd they do that?"

After a non-stop morning, it's time to fill your belly! Visit Tin Roof for some tasty pub food. Try the burgers and wings, or some delicious tacos a la carte — the beer-battered avocado tacos are definitely a fav! Not only does Tin Roof have some of the best bar food around, but their eclectic environment is home to many local musicians and music lovers, with live tunes happening almost every day. 

Keep the fun and games rolling today and spend the afternoon in a challenging escape game at Escapology. Not sure which game to play? Aliya worked through the 7 Deadly Sins to free herself from a "deadly curse". And that's just one of seven different game rooms where you can put your escape skills to the test. 

It's dinner time! Head over to Fogo de Chao for a Brazilian culinary experience. Fire-roasted meats, fine and fresh harvest, and craft cocktails paired with small plates — Fogo de Chao is sure to have something delightful for your taste buds. Yum!

The final day starts with stepping into the cultural life of Florida at the Orlando Museum of Art. Be amazed by the beautiful collections of American, African, and ancient American art on display. Aliya enjoyed "The Fragility of the Promise", which featured thousands of flickering lights — representing the many people who walk in and out of your life. 

Another day, another lunch outing. Gather and make memories at American Social Bar & Kitchen — where your cravings are satisfied, music fills the air, and the craft beverage options are endless. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, East Coast Oysters, or Strawberry Salmon Salad — everything on the menu is sure to impress! 

Your trip is coming to an end, but the fun sure isn't. Your last stop is Andretti Karting & Games — where the games are never-ending. First, challenge your friends and family to a little friendly competition showing off your bowling skills or a rush down the fast lane via electric go-kart. Then, try even more of their thrilling attractions like laser tag, zip lining, arcade games, the extreme ropes course, and more.
