Enjoy outdoor adventures by day, then sleep under the stars at one of Kissimmee's top camping spots.

From hiking, biking, and kayaking to fishing and bird watching, Kissimmee is a treasure trove of outdoor adventures. And if you’re an outdoor enthusiast who likes to venture into the wild and spend time under starry skies, then pack your camping gear and explore the many picture-perfect campgrounds of Central Florida.

Take a closer look at a few of our favorite spots to set up camp right here in Kissimmee.

East Toho RV Resort & Marina

Located along 100 acres of Lake Tohopekaliga (also known as Lake Toho), East Toho RV Resort & Marina is the perfect destination for big bass fishing in the beauty of old Florida. With lake-access boat slips and an impressive marina, it’s easy to get out on the water and start reeling in the catch of the day. Or, if you’d prefer not to work for your dinner—you’re on vacation, after all—make your way to the resort's restaurant and bar, where a delicious meal and delightful entertainment are waiting for you.

East Toho RV Resort & Marina is a gateway to airboat rides across the water and more fun at Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures for wild adventures. If it’s more of a “call of the mild” you’re after, there are numerous walking trails shaded by towering oak trees.

This location offers basic pull-through and waterfront RV campsites, as well as comfy cabins if you prefer to sleep indoors. And if you love your creature comforts, they also have special VIP accommodations complete with beautiful views and lots of space to spread out.

Lake Toho RV Resort

Calling all bass masters! On the west side of Lake Toho, you’ll find the Lake Toho RV Resort—as well as some of the biggest bass in the world. In fact, there are more bass over 10 pounds in the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes (including Lake Toho) than any other lake on Earth. Bring your fishing rod, make your way to the bait-and-tackle shop to get the inside scoop on the best spots to cast your line, and pick up the bait you need to land the big one.

The campsites at Lake Toho RV Resort all feature full RV hookups, so you can stay fully charged while on your outdoor adventure. There are also cabins if you’re more of a glamper than a camper. Best of all, the resort is close to exciting local attractions, making it a breeze to experience more of what Kissimmee has to offer.

Tropical Palms Resort

Tropical Palms Resort considers itself a home base for experiencing all things Kissimmee, but we think of it more like a home run. Cute and colorful, the resort offers mini-golf, shuffleboard, bocce ball, swimming, fishing, horseshoes, and more, all set across 69 secluded acres. Plus, you’re only a short walk from attractions like Old Town Kissimmee and Fun Spot and four miles from Walt Disney World Resort

You can stay at Tropical Palms Resort for a weekend, a month, a season, or beyond, and you’ll always have plenty to do. There are family movie nights, live music, a craft center, and even a volleyball court. The resort is also pet-friendly, so if you’re bringing your four-legged friend along for the fun, they’ll be welcomed with open arms (and wagging tails).

Orlando/Kissimmee KOA

Orlando/Kissimmee KOA is the ideal spot to kick back and relax on your Kissimmee vacation. Minutes from the theme parks while offering the peace and quiet you want in a camping getaway, this piece of paradise is sure to make you a happy camper.

Enjoy a refreshing dip in the heated pool or unwind in the relaxing spa. Hit the playground or jump pad for some serious fun, or try a game of basketball or horseshoes.

Are you a biker? Rent a set of wheels and explore the area. Traveling with a furry companion? They’ll make a beeline for Kamp K9 Dog Park (there’s also a dog-cleaning station if they have a little too much fun). And when the sun goes down, gather around the fire to roast marshmallows and enjoy the star-filled skies above.
