There’s golf in Central Florida and then there’s ChampionsGate Golf Club.

Just as the world-renowned theme parks draw countless thrillseekers, the 36 holes of world-class golf lure in golfers of every handicap, allowing amateurs, families, and pros an opportunity to shoot a round at one of Florida’s top courses.

ChampionsGate: The Greatest Golf Getaway

Part of Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, ChampionsGate Golf Club delivers an experience unlike any other in Central Florida. The National Course and the International Course, both designed by Greg Norman, combine for 36 unique opportunities to test your golf game on links-style and parkland-style greens.

With additional resort amenities including a 9-hole Par 3 course, a brand-new driving range, and a miniature golf course, ChampionsGate reigns as one of the greatest golf getaways in Central Florida.

The National Course

The National Course showcases the Sunshine State’s diverse landscape. Winding through 200 acres of former orange groves, wetlands, and woodlands, the 18 secluded holes of this traditional American-style championship golf course offer a tranquil yet challenging experience.

Play through this Par 72 parkland-style course and you’ll find at least as many bunkers across the gently sweeping fairways. Tour-condition greens and scenic water hazards offer hope and hesitation. This is a course that all players will enjoy, but also one where the shot makers will show off their skills.

The International Course

The National Course is a mere warm-up for the International Course. This PGA Tour Tournament course is longer and plays faster thanks to a complete restoration of the Championship Bermuda greens and bunkers. Over 7,300 square-feet of wind-swept dunes, pot bunkers, and generous fairways offer year-round consistency and exceptional playing conditions even in cold temperatures.

Greg Norman looked to his homeland for inspiration for the International Course. This rustic, “down under” style of a coastal links course is unique to Central Florida. Ranked in the top ten of Golf Advisor’s overall courses, the International Course will be the highlight of your golf getaway.

Eagle’s Edge at ChampionsGate

To complement the two Greg Norman courses, Eagles Edge at ChampionsGate elevates your golfing experience. It features 30 state-of-the-art hitting bays with Toptracer technology — the same used by the pros. You and five others can compete head-to-head, playing virtual courses and instantly comparing stats. Complimentary clubs are available, as is a full food and beverage menu.

Champs Par 3 Course

Whether you’re traveling with a novice golfer or need targeted short game practice, the Champs Par 3 Course is a rewarding experience. You’re welcome to play under the sun as a warm-up or take advantage of the illuminated course for a relaxed evening activity.

Crane’s Adventure Golf

There’s no such thing as too much golf, and the Crane’s Adventure Golf offers you one final chance to play 18 more challenging holes — of miniature golf. Located near the pool at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, this family-friendly course is an entertaining way to unwind while playfully working on your putting game.

Instruction

As a premier golfing destination, ChampionsGate Golf Club has a variety of instruction options for players of all skill levels. The Leadbetter Golf Academy has individual and family lessons available, including on-course playing lessons and supervised practices. Golf clinics, exhibitions, and indoor long drive instruction allow you to improve your game throughout your stay,

ShipSticks

Visiting Central Florida is exciting; traveling with your full set of golf clubs isn’t. Instead of lugging your golf bag from security to the tarmac, let ShipSticks provide you with safe door-to-door transportation. They’ll pick up your gear at your home and have it waiting for you when you arrive at ChampionsGate Golf Club.

Dining at ChampionsGate

ChampionsGate Golf Club’s location at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate brings nearly a dozen dining options to your fingertips. Eagles Edge is open as a dining destination with no requirement to use the driving range. Piper’s Grille and ChampionsGate Lounge are inside the ChampionsGate Clubhouse, the former open for breakfast and lunch and the latter serving lunch.

Other dining options throughout the resort include authentic Chinese cuisine at Zen, al fresco dining at Trevi’s, cocktails and steaks at David’s Club, sandwiches and salads at Broadway Deli, and tasty appetizers at poolside Croc’s.
