Around the World at EPCOT
Disney’s EPCOT celebrates cultural and natural wonders in one awe-inspiring park. Journey under the sea, launch into space or dine around the world.
With spectacular rides, shows, and restaurants, EPCOT provides a window into the power of imagination, innovation, culture, and cuisine.
The park is divided into distinct themed sections. World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature immerse you in the wonders of nature, culture, and human progress. World Showcase invites you to explore 11 different countries, from Mexico to Japan. Seasonal festivals amplify the fun and flavors of EPCOT.
Explore the Countries of EPCOT
The World Showcase section of the park allows you to travel the globe in one day with enticing recreations of Canada, Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, Morocco, France, and the United Kingdom. Experience the most captivating architecture, iconic landmarks, music, and cuisine of each country, and look out for Disney characters along the way!
Dine Around the World
Each of the 11 countries represented at EPCOT has foods and drinks that are unique to its history and culture – sample them as you hop from country to country.
Savor south-of-the border foods like tortilla soup and chicken with mole sauce at Mexico’s dreamy San Angel Inn Restaurante, which feels like a 17th-century hacienda at twilight, and sip margaritas at La Hacienda de San Angel.
Bavarian foods like Bratwurst, schnitzel, and apple strudel are among the specialties at Germany’s Biergarten Restaurant, and you can sample a range of German beers. Italy’s Tutto Italia serves up handmade pastas, gelato, and other Italian favorites.
At United Kingdom’s Rose & Crown British Pub, savor fish and chips on the water. And at France’s Chefs de France, a Parisian-style bistro, indulge in French classics like onion soup and roasted duck with cherries.
Enjoy the Rides
Several attractions bring to life the iconic settings of Disney stories. In Norway, on Frozen Ever After, board an old Nordic ship to experience Frozen’s Arendelle Kingdom, complete with Queen Elsa’s ice palace on North Mountain and various Frozen friends.
Another gentle boat ride, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros, whisks you down Mexico’s Rio Grande as festive tunes play from the 1944 Disney film The Three Cabelleros.
The over-sized characters and Parisian culinary capers you’ll encounter on the 4D ride experience Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will make you feel about as small as the chef mouse in the movie Ratatouille. Fair warning: They may also stimulate your appetite.
See Live Performances, Films & Shows
Exciting entertainment across the World Showcase gives a taste of local traditions while lifting your spirits. Highlights include: Matsuriza in Japan, featuring complex drumming on Taiko drums; the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along in France; the breathtaking feats of the Jeweled Dragon Acrobats in China; and the Circle-Vision 360 presentation: Canada Far and Wide, featuring expansive views of the nation’s stunning landscape.
Shop for Gifts & Admire Art
Shop for unique keepsakes and gifts and admire art from around the world at EPCOT shops and galleries. Buy perfume in France, colorful jewelry in Mexico, or cool winter accessories in Norway.
Japan’s Bijutsu-kan Gallery puts Kawaii (Japanese pop culture) on display while exhibits at Morocco’s Gallery of Arts and History showcase the country’s intricate designs.
At Norway’s Stave Church Gallery, see authentic Viking artifacts and, at the Mexico Folk Art Gallery, discover Day of the Dead works by notable Mexican artists.
Get Photo Ops with Disney Characters
As you wander the World Showcase, you can meet beloved Disney characters. Rendezvous with Belle in France and see Donald Duck in Mexico (dressed as one of The Three Caballeros).
In the United Kingdom, meet Alice and hear tales of her adventures in Wonderland.
Meet Princess Jasmine in Morocco, mingle with Mulan in China, and greet Snow White in Germany. In Norway, meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhaus for even more enchantment.
See the New Nighttime Spectacular: Harmonious
Be sure to stay past dark to witness this incredible show staged along World Showcase Lagoon. Harmonious combines Disney songs in various languages with scenes from classic stories, fireworks, and other visual effects, like lasers and projections on floating screens. You can even watch the show as you dine with a special dining package from Spice Road Table, which serves Mediterranean small plates, or Rose & Crown Dining Room, a British pub.
Connect With Innovation, Imagination & Nature
The World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature sections of the park explore the awesome aspects of our world – land, sea, and beyond. Check out rides, displays, shows, and more to get a fresh perspective on natural wonders and human progress.
Exciting Rides
Housed in a shimmering geodesic sphere, the park’s flagship attraction, Spaceship Earth, takes riders on a riveting journey through the history of communication and humanity itself. (You must use the My Disney Experience app to enter the attraction.)
At Mission: SPACE, you’ll get astronaut-like training and then choose to either embark on a mission to Mars packed with hazards and mind-blowing views of Earth, or orbit our planet in a calmer way. On Soarin’ Around the World, go hang gliding above the wonders of the world on an exhilarating flight simulator.
For more high-octane action, head to Test Track to design and then test a car along nail-biting switchbacks, banked curves and steep hills – all at high speed.

Board a “clamobile” on The Seas with Nemo & Friends and dive into the waves (minus the H2O) on a fun-packed ride past underwater coral reefs, anemones, and sea creatures.
