Explore the world of tomorrow at Disney's EPCOT

As you enter the park, World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature immerse you in the wonders of the world, including technology and human connection. Voyaging deeper in, World Showcase invites you to explore 11 countries situated around a manmade lagoon. A fireworks display set to music closes EPCOT® every night, and seasonal festivals amp up the park's flavors.

Explore the Countries of EPCOT®

In the World Showcase section of the park, travel the globe in one day with recreations of Canada, Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, America, Japan, Morocco, France, and the United Kingdom — all in only 1.2 miles. Admire authentic architecture and iconic landmarks, listen to live music and watch performers, and taste each country's cuisine. For an added treat, make time to speak with the Cast Members in each area about their home country and pick up an authentic souvenir.

Dine Around the World

Each of the 11 countries at EPCOT® serves foods and drinks representative of its culture. A handful have sit-down restaurants, and most have carts selling snack-size portions perfect for sampling as you stroll around World Showcase.

Savor tortilla soup topped with crispy tortilla strips and chicken enchiladas with mole sauce served alongside plantains at Mexico’s San Angel Inn Restaurante, set inside the Mexico pavilion in an ambiance that feels like dining at twilight. Back outside, get a frozen lime, strawberry, or mango margarita — or the Fiesta layered with all three — from Choza de Margarita, just off the pavilion steps.

Bavarian specialties like schnitzel, spätzle, and strudel are on the buffet at Germany’s Biergarten Restaurant, where you can also sample a flight of German beers while hearing traditional Oktoberfest entertainment. In Italy, the more formal Tutto Italia Ristorante serves up handmade pastas, while Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar has more than 200 Italian wines, plus small plates, in a more casual setting. If it's open, grab a square from the pavilion's Pizza al Taglio window.

The Rose & Crown Dining Room in the United Kingdom is where you'll find British fare like shepherd's pie and bangers and mash. It's the dining section of the full-service Rose & Crown British Pub, serving cold beers, ciders, scotches, and more. And at France’s Chefs de France, with its large windows overlooking the World Showcase walkway, indulge in French classics like escargot, steak frites, and crème brûlée.

Enjoy the Rides

Several attractions bring to life the iconic settings of Disney stories. In Norway, on Frozen Ever After, board a Nordic ship for a slow-moving musical journey through Arendelle, a frozen forest, and Elsa's ice palace.

Another gentle boat ride, Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, whisks you down Mexico’s Rio Grande as José and Panchito go in search of the third member of their trio, Donald Duck.

The oversized characters and Parisian culinary capers you’ll encounter on the ride experience Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will make you feel as small as the mouse chef in the movie "Ratatouille." Fair warning: They may also stimulate your appetite.

See Live Performances, Films, & Shows

Exciting entertainment around World Showcase gives a taste of local traditions while lifting your spirits. Live performances include Matsuriza in Japan, featuring taiko drums, and Mariachi Cobre, featuring the folk music of Jalisco, Mexico. The Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along in France, a short retelling of the film, encourages the audience to — you guessed it — sing along, and the Circle-Vision 360 presentation Canada Far and Wide showcases expansive views of the northern nation’s stunning landscape.

Shop for Gifts & Admire Art

Shop for keepsakes and gifts and admire art from around the world in EPCOT®'s many shops and galleries. Buy perfume in France, colorful jewelry in Mexico, or cold-weather accessories in Norway.

Japan’s Bijutsu-kan Gallery puts kawaii (Japanese pop culture) on display, while exhibits at Morocco’s Gallery of Arts and History showcase the country’s intricate designs.

At Norway’s Stave Church Gallery, see authentic Viking artifacts, and at the Mexico Folk Art Gallery, discover Day of the Dead works by notable Mexican artists.

Find Photo Ops with Disney Characters

As you wander World Showcase, you'll no doubt come across beloved Disney characters. Rendezvous with Belle in France and see Donald Duck dressed as one of The Three Caballeros in Mexico, complete with a colorful sombrero.

In the United Kingdom, meet Alice and hear tales of her adventures in Wonderland.

Meet Princess Jasmine in Morocco, mingle with Mulan in China, and greet Snow White in Germany. In Norway, meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhaus.

See the Nighttime Spectacular Luminous: The Symphony of Us

Be sure to stay past dark to see the skies light up around World Showcase Lagoon. Luminous: The Symphony of Us combines new music with favorite Disney tunes, all complementing a choreography of fireworks, dancing fountains, and lights. You can even watch the show while you dine with a special dining package from Spice Road Table, which serves Mediterranean small plates, or Rose & Crown Dining Room, a British pub.

Connect With Innovation, Imagination, & Nature

The World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature sections of the park explore awesome aspects of our world, including sea and space.

Exciting Rides

Housed in a shimmering geodesic sphere, the park’s flagship attraction, Spaceship Earth, takes riders on a riveting journey through the history of communication. On the thrilling new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind — the first reverse-launch Disney coaster — explore Xandar galaxies and fly through the cosmos on a mission to help the rag-tag group of extraterrestrial criminals.

At Mission: SPACE, you’ll get astronaut-like training and then embark on a mission to Mars packed with hazards and mind-blowing views of Earth, or orbit our planet in a calmer way. On Soarin’ Around the World, go hang gliding above the wonders of the world — complete with scents to transport you — on an exhilarating flight simulator.

For more high-octane action, head to Test Track for a high-speed race along banked curves and steep hills.

At Journey Into Imagination With Figment, get insight into the five human senses as the whimsical purple dragon Figment guides you through the Imagination Institute. Board a “clamobile” on The Seas with Nemo & Friends and dive below the waves (minus the water) on a ride past coral reefs, anemones, and friends (not food) from the Pixar film "Finding Nemo."

Exhibits, Play Spaces, & Shows

With a focus on "edutainment," EPCOT® offers opportunities for learning at the exits of several of its attractions. After climbing out of your clamobile at The Seas with Nemo & Friends, explore the 5.7 million-gallon aquarium for a look at real marine life, from sea turtles to dolphins to rehabilitating manatees.

Get a look at the world’s wow-worthy vistas in the short film "Awesome Planet." Peer into the future at Project Tomorrow: Inventing the Wonders of the Future, where you’ll gain insight into technologies like using robots to perform surgeries through interactive experiences. At ImageWorks - The "What If" Labs, little ones can conduct an orchestra simply by waving their arms in the air or design their own take on Figment.

Dining

At Coral Reef Restaurant, spot sharks, rays, and other sea creatures in the Seas with Nemo & Friends aquarium while you dine on Florida-fresh shrimp, snapper, and steak. See Earth like never before after blasting into space as you savor dishes with names like Starry Calamari and the Gemini Burger at Space 220 Restaurant. Both are sit-down restaurants, but you can also find food on the go at places like Sunshine Seasons food court in The Land Pavilion or Connections Eatery in World Celebration.
