Butterfly Dans is the oldest and one of the largest butterfly farms in the US. They supply multiple Zoos and Conservatories around the country with pupae for their butterfly houses.
Butterfly Dans is currently offering tours of their facility, which includes sharing with the public how they raise thousands of butterflies weekly. In addition, they have a tram ride that exhibits a food forest, butterfly rain forest, a bug campground, and a quick tour of the ecosystem of Lake Tahoe.
