Owner, Odilia Alvarado was born in Mexico in 1983 and moved to the U.S. in 1991. Her father worked in a greenhouse while her mother worked in a factory. Odilia began working at a Mexican restaurant with a friend, shortly after they opened their first business in 1998 as a taco and tortilla stand. Two years later her parents opened their first restaurant in 2000 in Orlando. A year later they expanded into a grocery store then eventually a bakery that served as a tortillas factory for local establishments.
