The Mustard Seed of Central Florida

The Mustard Seed of Central Florida is a furniture and clothing bank, providing families in Central Florida who have experienced personal tragedy or economic hardship with a full household of furniture, down to the dishes and linens. They have been serving the Central Florida community for over 35 years. Families are referred to them by over 150 different referring agencies, and they work with a variety of individual furniture donors in the community, as well as hotels and resorts to maintain an inventory of furniture for their furniture clients. They additionally have a clothing program, providing families in the community with a weeks worth of outfits twice a month if that family qualifies for state aid. To maintain an environmentally friendly mission, The Mustard Seed of Central Florida recycles mattresses down to the foam, springs and fabric.
