How far is Disney from Kissimmee?

Via West U.S. Highway 192 entrance to Disney is a brief few minutes from Kissimmee.

Will I see an alligator?

While we have several attractions that feature alligators in controlled habitats, they can also be found in the wild in Central Florida. Should you encounter an alligator outside a controlled and regulated attraction, please keep the following information in mind:

  • Feeding, harassing, or injuring alligators is not only dangerous, but it is also illegal.
  • When fishing, dispose of scraps in proper receptacles; do not dump waste into the environment.
  • Always supervise children and pets, especially near bodies of water.
  • Avoid swimming day or night in areas where there is heavy vegetation near shore. Also do not swim in areas where swimming is prohibited, or where alligator warnings are clearly posted.

Do the attractions offer wheelchair rentals?

Yes, wheelchair rentals are available at all major attractions. Reservations are required prior to arrival for motorized wheelchairs. For more information, please visit the Accessibility & Special Needs section of our site.

How much should I tip? 

It's customary to recognize good service at hotels with a gratuity to those who provide it. A 18% tip is customary for hospitality-rendered personal services. Other standard gratuities include: 

  • $1 per bag for luggage assistance
  • $5 - $10 per week for maid service
  • $2 to the doorman or valet parker.

Is there transportation available from the Orlando International Airport to Kissimmee? 

Yes, all major car rental agencies and shuttle services are available for your convenience. Prior arrangements for Getting Around are recommended.

What is the closest beach to your area?

On the east coast Daytona Beach is approximately a 90-minute drive to the northeast; Cocoa Beach is approximately a 60-minute drive to the east. On the west coast, Clearwater/St. Petersburg beaches are approximately a 90-minute drive.
