Besties & Birdies

Come with your bestie or meet her here. Making friends as an adult can be weird. So we brought golf clubs. Besties & Birdies is a six-week daytime golf series for women who want to learn golf, meet local women and have something fun to look forward to in the middle of the week. Maybe you're new to St. Cloud. Maybe you work from home, own a business or just need one hour in the middle of a busy week that's actually yours. Maybe you and your friends have been saying you need to find something new to do together. Whatever brought you here, you're welcome. Golf Is What Gets Us Together You don't need to know a thing about golf before you come. Over six Thursdays, Coach Roger will teach us the fundamentals while we mix in partner practice, small-group activities, games and friendly challenges. You'll learn: • Driving & making solid contact • Chipping around the green • Putting & distance control • Basic golf rules & terminology • Golf etiquette & how things work on the course • Club selection & when to use what • Bringing your driving, chipping & putting together • Partner drills, games & friendly challenges • Building the confidence to actually go play And because this is Besties & Birdies, we aren't spending six weeks standing in a line hitting golf balls next to people whose names we still don't know. We'll mix things up, change partners and actually get to know each other while we're learning. There will be good shots and there will be some very questionable shots. That's golf. Come Alone. Bring Your Bestie. Bring the Whole Group Chat. Coming by yourself? Come on. We'll make the introductions. Bringing your bestie? Perfect. We'll mix things up so you both get to meet other women too. Convincing the whole group chat to come? Even better. Somewhere between the missed putts, unexpectedly great shots and figuring out what everyone means when they say "the break," you start knowing the women standing beside you. And hopefully six Thursdays later, you've learned some golf and found a few new people to play it with. Limited to 10 women $199 for the complete six-week series What About Golf Clubs? Already have clubs? Bring them! Don't own clubs yet? That's completely fine. Come to your first class without buying a set. We have limited clubs available, and Coach Roger can help you figure out what equipment you actually need. Beginning with your second class, you'll need your own driver, wedge and putter. Please don't feel like you need to run out and buy a full set before your first day. We'd rather help you get it right first. Six Thursdays. A Little Golf. A Lot of Fun. And Maybe a Few New Besties. You don't need golf experience. You don't need to already know someone.
