In the wake of the Pulse tragedy in 2016, Experience Kissimmee established Kissimmee Cares as a way to demonstrate compassion, unity, and a long-term commitment to the community. What began as a response to a moment of profound loss evolved into an ongoing effort to support local nonprofits and organizations making a difference across Osceola County. In 2023, following a devastating fire that impacted the Salvation Army of Osceola County, Experience Kissimmee and its partners once again rallied together to support those in need. That effort helped reinvigorate the Kissimmee Cares program, expanding its role as the organization's charitable giving initiative. Today, Kissimmee Cares has continued to grow, supporting local nonprofits and strengthening the community through collective action and shared purpose.

For 2025 - 2026, Experience Kissimmee has partnered with Help Now of Osceola, which supports survivors of domestic violence and their families across Osceola County. Through emergency shelter, advocacy, and support services, Help Now provides a path toward safety, healing, and independence.

The committee meets every September to review applications submitted by organizations interested in the program and being the years charitable partner.
