Mystic Dunes Golf Club

Kissimmee, Florida is a hole-in-one destination

How does one choose clubs for two different course styles — that’s the mystery you’ll need to solve at Mystic Dunes Golf Club

Designed by Champions Tour Player and NBC Golf Analyst Gary Koch, this 18-hole, Par 72 Championship golf course challenges you to choose the right clubs for nine holes of low country golf followed by nine holes of links style golf.

Two Signature Styles, One Challenging Course

Classic Carolina courses and characteristic British Isles links coverage at Mystic Dunes Golf Club, and thanks to Gary Koch, this expertly crafted golf course creates a delightfully challenging series of holes that will change the way you approach every shot.

The low-country style is fully showcased on the front nine, with rolling sand dunes, 80-foot elevation changes, expanses of wetlands, and unforgiving oaks filling the picturesque course. Whiskey barrel bunkers and narrow landing areas will make you grateful that most of these holes are Par 4s and Par 5s.

As you round Hole 10 you’re suddenly met with an about-face; the course has shifted to the other side of the Atlantic and challenges you to keep your cool. A game of circles or squares awaits on Hole 11’s multi-tiered island green, an extensive waste area on Hole 14, and the spine-dividing green of Hole 16.

Practice Facilities

Don’t hesitate to shake the rust off before you play Mystic Dunes; you won’t be the only one warming up on the course’s extensive 60,000 square-foot practice facility. Featuring a 300-yard driving range with 30 stalls, practice bunkers, and chipping and putting greens, this facility offers an ideal way to prepare for the course’s low-country and links-inspired holes.

Instruction

Instruction at Mystic Dunes is under the watchful eye of Head Golf Professional Corey Masters, PGA. Half-hour and hour-long private sessions are personalized to help you hone your game. Weekly drop-in clinics are also available. Designed for beginners, these classes cover topics that can improve the mental and physical aspects of your game.

Dining at Mystic Dunes

After a round under the sun, cool off inside the Mystic Dunes Clubhouse at Kenzie’s Restaurant & Pub. Sit back and take in panoramic views of the Par 72 course now that the ink on your scorecard has dried. Breakfast begins at 10 am and the kitchen stays open until 10 p.m. daily, serving up everything from classic burgers and New York strip steak to steak au poivre (pepper steak) and piping hot pies from the restaurant’s pizza oven. A Starbucks mini barista is also located in the clubhouse, ready to perk you up before or after your round.
