It’s Easy to Find Your Way to Kissimmee
As a popular year-round destination, Kissimmee welcomes visitors from around the world—and with three airports serving the Central Florida area, getting here is always easy. If arriving here from another country, be sure to read our airports, airlines, and visa requirements sections. And if you’re on a road trip, check out our Central Florida maps for driving directions. (We’ve noticed people tend to lose themselves in our spectacular surroundings while traveling in Kissimmee!)
BY AIR
Most major airlines fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO), just 30 minutes from Kissimmee. Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM), conveniently located to Hwy. 192 and I-4, is the closest airport to the major theme parks and convention centers, and offers prime access for those flying in on private or charter jets. Additional scheduled airline flights arrive at Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), less than an hour's travel time away.
BY CAR
- West U.S. Highway 192 is Kissimmee’s primary tourist corridor; brightly colored Guide Markers along the way make it easy to navigate.
- Osceola Parkway (Toll Road 522) is a direct route to Walt Disney World® Resort.
- Exit #242, #244, and #249 on Florida’s Turnpike provide easy access to and from Kissimmee.
- Exit #64 on I-4 provides easy access to and from Kissimmee.
BY RAIL
Amtrak provides rail service to Kissimmee as well as Orlando, Winter Park, and Sanford (a hub for the auto train). The Kissimmee station is the closest one to Walt Disney World® Resort.
