Ride on an Airboat

Admire the Florida landscape and look for alligators as you glide across the water. These exhilarating adventures are offered Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Florida residents, be sure to ask about special rates. These tours include admission to the Gator Park.

• Half-Hour Tour: $36/adult and $32/child
• One-Hour Tour: $64/adult and $50/child

Tours start at 9 a.m., and the last departs at 4:30 p.m. Airboat rides are great for all ages! Children under the age of two are free to ride, and children under 5 are required to wear a life jacket. For members of your party who are 6 years old and over, life jackets and ear protection are provided but not required.

Choose from a half-hour airboat tour or a full hour for maximum time spent out on the headwaters of the Florida Everglades. You can also book a private one-hour daytime or nighttime tour.

During the day, you’ll be surrounded by Florida’s natural splendor and spot wildlife such as alligators, ospreys, and eagles. And if you’re into flora and fauna, the captivating landscape of trees and plants that make up the wetlands are truly a sight to see.

Watch the swamp come alive after sunset on the night tour. Ride through 100,000 acres of protected swamps, marshes, and rivers that local wildlife call home. There’s something surreal about being in complete darkness while only minutes from world-famous theme parks.

Walk Through the Gator Park

See alligators and other wild creatures at the gator park, Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

After your airboat tour, it’s time to walk through the alligator park. From animal encounters to shows, there’s so much to see. Yes, the alligators here are real! These native beasts roam the wetlands, and Wild Florida Adventure Park gives you the opportunity to watch, touch, and even feed alligators.

Looking for more animal encounters? Get up close and personal with a two-toed sloth, ring-tailed lemur, African crested porcupine, Australian wallabies, and more, and stroll through the tropical bird aviary if you’re a bird watcher.

While walking through the gator park, spot deer, turkey, bobcats, crocodiles, monster alligators, and more. Walk out onto the Hawk Swamp boardwalk and take in a cypress swamp ecosystem.

Drive Through the Safari Park

Take an unforgettable drive and see animals from around the world. The Safari Park is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• $35/adult and $25/child younger than 13
• $25/adult and $20/child with a valid Florida ID

Hop into your car and take a drive on the wild side. Wild Florida Adventure Park’s Drive-Thru Safari park showcases more than 150 exotic and native animals. While these animals roam freely, you can rest assured your path is paved. You’ll be up close and personal with wild animals such as white-tailed deer, bison, wildebeest, zebras, oryx, and Watutsi. Stop along the path to feed giraffes and awe at these beloved animals.

(Here’s a tip: If you can’t get enough of the giraffes, consider reserving your spot at the Giraffe Painting Experience. For $145 per person, you can get hands on with the tallest painter here. You can also hand-feed them, and a portion of your ticket is donated to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation. How cool!)
