Journey into fairytales, through jungles, back in time, or forward into the future in the six lands at Walt Disney World Resort’s beloved Magic Kingdom Park.

Magic Kingdom Park is arguably the most famous Walt Disney World® Resort theme park of all. Not only does it have six enchanted lands, it’s also home to Cinderella Castle. Get ready to hit the highlights of this iconic attraction.

Stroll Down Main Street, U.S.A.

Once you scan your tickets, you’ll find yourself in the first of Magic Kingdom’s fine lands: Main Street, U.S.A. This charming street is known for its incredible shows and shops. Throughout the day, performers from Main Street Trolley Show, Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire, and the Festival of Fantasy Parade will all make their way down this bustling street. Between shows, you can pop into shops like the Emporium and Uptown Jewelers for some Disney merch.

If there’s just one thing that you don’t want to miss on Main Street, it’s taking a photo with Cinderella Castle! While the castle is technically located in Fantasyland, Main Street, U.S.A. is one of the best places to get those iconic castle shots.

If you’d like to start or end your park day with a bite to eat, there are a few options here. Head to Casey’s Corner for casual fare like cheese-and-chili-laden hot dogs or pop by The Crystal Palace for a beloved character breakfast with friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.

Explore Jungles & Encounter Pirates in Adventureland

First thing’s first: Jungle Cruise. Navigate your way through the Amazon Rainforest and all its wild surprises. Snarling animatronic lions, hungry hippos, thriving greenery, and cascading waterfalls are just the start.

But there’s not just one boat ride in Adventureland – there are two! Set sail again on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, this time with the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow. And he’s not the only pirate you’ll encounter on the journey.

Ride Down Mountains in Frontierland

This enchanted land is home to some of the wildest thrills. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is one of the fastest rides at Magic Kingdom Park – the popular roller coaster sends you hurtling through a haunted gold mine on a speeding train. Splash Mountain, another Frontierland attraction, is currently being rethemed. It’s expected to re-open in 2024 as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure based on the 2009 movie The Princess and the Frog.

Need a bite to eat? The Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café is right around the corner. Savor some tasty Tex-Mex like the pork carnitas nachos or the fajita platter – and don’t forget to load up at the toppings bar!

Journey Back in Time at Liberty Square

As the name of this land implies, Liberty Square takes you back to the eighteenth century with 17976 architecture, brick-colored paths, and steam paddleboats. There’s even a replica of the Liberty Bell to be discovered here.

By far, the most popular attraction in Liberty Square is the Haunted Mansion. This eerie ride tells you the tale of the Black Widow bride with the help of your ghost host and spooky special effects. And after you’ve seen the unliving side, visit Sleepy Hollow for some much-needed comfort food like fruit-topped Mickey waffles and powdered sugar-dusted funnel cakes.

Feel Like You’re in a Fairytale in Fantasyland

Fantasyland is the ideal combination of beloved classics and new favorites. People dream of taking a whimsical spin at the Mad Tea Party, a musical sail through the iconic it’s a small world, or a gravity-defying journey on Peter Pan’s Flight.

That said, one of the newest attractions in Magic Kingdom Park, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, has quickly found its spot amidst the other popular Fantasyland rides. Make your way into the Seven Dwarfs’ sparkling diamond mine on this racing, swaying roller coaster that sends you deep into the mine with several hairpin turns.

No time in Fantasyland would be complete without a close-up visit to Cinderella Castle. Take a few more Instagram-worthy photos, get a magical makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, or splurge on an unforgettable meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table – complete with a few special appearances from other Disney princesses.

If you’re hoping for an equally fancy sit-down meal, head to Be Our Guest for French-inspired fare in the Beast’s infamous castle. Or if you’d prefer a casual bite, pop by The Friar’s Nook for every variation of tater tots you can dream of.

Launch into the Future in Tomorrowland

Next up: Tomorrowland! This particular land is fantastic for thrill seekers and gamers. Shoot for the moon on the iconic dark coaster Space Mountain, let your little one take the wheel at Tomorrowland Speedway, and try to get the high score on the interactive Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. You can also experience the recently-opened TRON Lightcycle / Run.
