Your guide will take you through the African savanna and other landscapes in an open-air vehicle, sharing insights along the way. Amplify the experience with Wild African Trek, a 3-hour private VIP tour combining the safari vehicle tour and exploring on foot (advance ticket purchase required).

After your safari, don’t miss the self-guided walk along Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail for face-to-face encounters with gorillas, zebras, and meerkats in lush, tropical surroundings.  

Get on the Wildlife Train

Cross the savanna aboard a rustic train to get a behind-the-scenes view of housing and veterinary facilities for rhinos, elephants, and other animals at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. While at Conservation Station in Rafiki’s Planet Watch, you can learn about inspiring conservation efforts and how you can be a friend to wildlife. You can also get insights into animal nutrition and watch experts prep meals for the park residents.

Your African treks will leave you awestruck, and so will the musical performances. Festival of the Lion King delivers a Broadway-esque show that celebrates The Lion King movie with giant puppets, costumed dancers, stilt walkers, and powerful songs. Board the roller coaster Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain in the Tibetan village at the foot of Asia land’s towering peak.
