Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is a year-round “melting” ski resort! According to Walt Disney World Resort legend, an unexpected snowstorm led to the development of Central Florida’s first ski resort. Of course, the snow didn’t last long, and it left behind empty, snowless ski jumps and chair lifts. The operators took the opportunity to turn the mountain of snow into a water wonderland.
With family rides, single slides, and kiddie tides, this family-friendly water park has something for everyone. Experience the thrill of Downhill Double Dipper or Summit Plummet, an almost vertical drop plunging 12 stories down. Or, have a blast on the Toboggan Racers, perfect for some friendly competition.
Looking to take a break from the thrills? Instead, dive into delicious flavors at Frostbit Freddy’s Frozen Freshments, Lottawatta Lodge, or Polar Pub. You’ll find tasty treats like loaded nachos, snow-capped chalets, specialty burgers filled with smoky ham jam, and icy cocktails such as the colorful Piña CoLAVA.
Polar Patios offer families and groups a private, shaded deck where everyone can order food, relax on cushioned seats, stow away valuables in a locker, and enjoy a cooler stocked with ice and water bottles. Access to the Polar Patios also comes with refillable drink mugs to use throughout the day.

Island H2O Water Park
Enhance your family connection by visiting Island H2O. This interactive water park is the place to beat the heat while staying social with those around you. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a wristband that links to an app – letting you control the streaming playlist throughout the park. Plus, you can earn points toward food and merchandise purchases, join in interactive games, and display real-time videos and pictures on the big screen at the wave pool!
With eight water slides, two kiddie play areas, a lazy river, basketball pool, adult-only pool, and wave pool, there’s certainly fun for everyone in the family.
Adventure-seekers will thrive on the Hashtag Heights or Reload Rapids rides, while the little tikes will have a blast in the Candy Stripe Cove or Pelican’s Paradise, or everyone can ride the waves at Live! Lagoon.
Reload at Megabytes for snacks and lunch or Tag Shack for Insta-worthy beverages. Throughout the day, take a peek inside Selfie Shack or Be Live!, where you can stream yourself live on the jumbo screen and the park’s social media channels. So, kick back and relax as you travel through cyberspace.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Kowabunga! It’s time to meet Lagoona Gator at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. This year-round park has heated pools for those rare, chilly Florida days and extra excitement including Disney H2O Glow Nights, a specially themed summer event.
You’ll find several raft and tube rides, water slides, a lazy river, and one of the world’s largest wave pools.
Whether you endlessly slide the day away or simply soak up the sun on a lounge chair, you’ll be keeping cool throughout the park.
Keep your eyes peeled for shipwrecked debris as you stroll through the park, including a shipwrecked shrimp boat, Miss Tilly. Disney legend has it that a tropical cyclone brought her to the shore, and from there, this incredible tropical retreat came to be.
So, grab your gear and enjoy the thrill rides that keep you wanting more. From Crush ‘n’ Gusher and Gangplank Falls to Humunga Kowabunga and Mayday Falls, Typhoon Lagoon provides your family with the perfect oasis from the summer heat.
Speaking of heat – the best way to stay cool is with a leisurely lap in the lazy river or wave pool. Slowly float down Castaway Creek or kick it up a notch at Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool where you can ride the waves – literally!
Hang 10 as you take a private surf lesson right in this state-of-the-art wave pool. This three-hour session is jam-packed with loads of training and entertaining fun.
All this water really wears you out! It’s time to ease into a break with an ice cream treat or specialty drink at Happy Landings Ice Cream (sand pail filled with ice cream, anyone?) or Let’s Go Slurpin’. Walk around with your snack or, better yet, rent a private area at Beachcomber Shack. It’s a great way for your entire family to gather together for food, fresh towels, cushioned seating, lockers, refillable drink mugs, and a personal cooler.
