Jackie Espinosa of the Matador Tacos and Tapas Bar

After all, this iconic spot—originally known as Joanie’s Diner—has been serving up home-style deliciousness for over 30 years. Jackie’s fusion of Mexican and Spanish food is downright inspired. Best of all, Espinosa believes the atmosphere is just as important as the food, which is why you’ll find a wide range of entertainment—from mariachi bands and dancers to classic live jazz musicians—performing on any given evening throughout the week. Spice up your vacation and swing by the Matador during your next trip to Florida!
