The story of XO Coffee Shop begins with a tattoo artist who never planned to own a business, let alone two. After years of tattooing and feeling content in their role, a move from a small town near Destin to the bustling city of Kissimmee sparked something unexpected — a deep desire to create a sense of connection and community. 

At the time, Kissimmee lacked local coffee shops, and the owner thought driving to Orlando just for coffee made it feel like a long trek for something so simple. Eventually, the idea struck — why not bring that same vibe to Kissimmee? 

And just like that, the seeds of XO Coffee Shop were planted — a cozy space that would become Kissimmee’s go-to “third place,” the magical spot between work and home where people could sip, chat, and stay a while. 

Two Passions, One Roof 

The tattoo studio came later. The owner was primarily focused on the coffee shop at first, but as tattooing is their main passion, the two worlds naturally began to intersect. Managing both businesses separately became challenging, so combining them into one space felt like an unconventional but logical next step. 

After getting the green light from the health department (yes, it’s totally possible to sip lattes and design ink in harmony), XO Coffee Shop began to take shape. The space is bright and airy, with plenty of windows that let customers peek into the tattoo area and watch the resident artists at work.

XO Coffee Shop lets both worlds shine. Guests can enjoy their espresso in peace, free from the buzz of a tattoo gun, or wander over to the tattoo area, soaking in the art while deciding on their next design. It’s the perfect balance of caffeine and creativity.
