Osceola County knows how to throw a 4th of July bash that’s bigger, brighter, and more fun than anywhere else. Here’s your ultimate guide to the top spots for celebrating our great nation all year round!

Celebration

Celebration, Florida may be a small town, but it has a big personality, especially for Independence Day! Developed by The Walt Disney Company in the 1990s, this picturesque suburb features charming old-fashioned architecture and tree-lined streets. But what makes Celebration truly special is its vibrant community life with many events and markets for both residents and visitors alike.

While waiting for Celebration’s Independence Day Spectacular, you can explore everything Celebration’s town center has to offer, from cute boutiques to delicious dining options. Check out the Market Street Gallery and take home a souvenir from their seasonal selection. Each eatery will be housing a tent right outside their doors with special treats for you to grab on the go. Savor the all-American experience with Downtown Diner’s iconic foot-long hot dog and their irresistible funnel cake for dessert. Afterward, take a stroll around the lake to pick your perfect spot for relaxing under the stars, before the fireworks begin!

Celebration truly comes to life with a fantastic array of events for the whole family on the 4th. The Independence Day Spectacular in the bustling town center features live music performances, a variety of food vendors, and a dazzling fireworks show that lights up the night sky. Whether it's a holiday event or just a day out, Celebration offers a delightful experience for everyone to enjoy.

Old Town Entertainment District

For a truly American feel any day of the year, Old Town has you covered. Old Town offers retro vibes perfect for a patriotic day out! This buzzing entertainment district located in Kissimmee is not only your one-stop shop for family-friendly fun, but it also gets you closer to fireworks than any other destination!

The most unique show in our area, Old Town’s fireworks, are launched from the tops of every single block of the entertainment district while guests stare in awe from below. Before the show, you can come early and spend your day wandering through the classic storefronts of yesterday and let the kids enjoy amusement rides that make Old Town a favorite destination. Be sure to visit shops like Wound N' Round, where you can find a treasure trove of real American memorabilia, classic movie posters, and vintage home decor. For a true American dining experience, sip on A&W’s classic root beer float (which we think tastes even better on July 4th!), or get competitive with your friends and have a hotdog eating contest at Nathan’s Famous just like they do in Coney Island, a neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. Maybe you’ll be the next Joey Chestnut?

All day long, Old Town celebrates the 4th of July with streetmosphere entertainment, where performers bring the streets to life with their fun acts. The excitement continues with live music that sets the perfect festive mood to explore all of the area’s unique attractions. Every year, friends and family gather around 9:30 p.m. for the final event—a dazzling fireworks display illuminating the night sky and creating a great ending for a day of patriotic fun.

Downtown Kissimmee - Lakefront Park

Downtown Kissimmee offers an unforgettable 4th of July celebration in our well beloved Lakefront Park. This historic area, known for its beautiful streets and rich cultural heritage, transforms into a lively hub of festivities every Independence Day.

Start your day by discovering the family-run shops and boutiques that line the streets, offering everything from quality antiques to artisanal jewelry. Many of Downtown Kissimmee’s establishments have been proudly passed down through generations, embodying the spirit of small-town America as you explore. The downtown area is also home to several restaurants and cafes where you can savor delicious local cuisine or grab a quick snack. For a rock-n-roll attitude and delicious American flavors, check out Big John’s Rockin’ BBQ (the Brisket Quesadilla will get you ready for the show!), or head over to Willy’s Weiners to enjoy a variety of Chicago-style hotdogs. To celebrate the 4th, we recommend the Rodeo Dog with crispy bacon, sweet BBQ sauce, and melted cheese - need we say more?

Finally, make your way to Lakefront Park for the City of Kissimmee’s Monumental 4th of July Celebration! Visitors can enjoy live performances from talented artists (and some famous ones too!), a kid's zone with games and activities, and several food trucks offering a wide range of delicious options. As the night goes on, everyone settles in for the grand finale – a monumental fireworks show that lights up the night sky over the beautiful waters of Lake Tohopekaliga!

Tip for visiting: Avoid the traffic and ride the Sunrail into Downtown Kissimmee. This July 4th, Sunrail is offering free rides for an easy way to join the festivities. If you prefer to drive, arrive early to find the best parking spot and beat the crowds. The City of Kissimmee has parking garages near the party on Pleasant Street and Darlington Avenue and at the Kissimmee Civic Center.

Stay in the loop for Kissimmee’s epic Monumental 4th of July bash! Just text “MONUMENT” to 888777 and let the fireworks begin!

St. Cloud Lakefront Park

St. Cloud Lakefront Park offers a memorable 4th of July celebration with a small-town feel and plenty of festive activities. The park is perpendicular to the local “grid” as we call it, with streets named after several states of America. So visitors and locals alike can celebrate Independence Day by traveling down Lakeshore, from Montana to Mississippi—all in one day!

Along these state streets are the quaint shops that give St. Cloud its unique character. From curated antique stores to trendy fashion boutiques, you’ll find a souvenir as special as your Independence Day. For a bite to eat before the show, it's a short walk from the Lakefront to Downtown St. Cloud eateries like local favorite Chimento’s Spaghetti House. Our favorite star-spangled dish? Lasagna, Pizza Pockets, and Chicken Salad Salad—#IYKYK. If you’re looking for a fresh catch, stop by Crabby Bill’s right on the water for a big bucket cocktail of your choice and some fried fish or grouper!

From Downtown St. Cloud, walk down Pennsylvania or New York Avenues to St. Cloud’s Lakefront Park for a full afternoon and evening of Independence Day celebrations. Festivities kick off with an All-American Car Show, flaunting classic and vintage cars along Lakeshore Blvd starting at the Lakefront Park Marina. Locals are always excited for the Kids Bike Parade (no registration needed!) where little ones ride their decorated bikes on the main stage starting at 6:30 P.M.

With a kid's zone, live music, food trucks, and small business support, St. Cloud’s 4th on East Lake Tohopekaliga won’t be one to miss. End the night by the lake where there isn’t a bad view in the house and you can see the fireworks reflecting beautifully on the water.
