Celebrate International Women’s Day in Kissimmee, Florida

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global celebration recognizing the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women worldwide. Experience Kissimmee proudly joins the worldwide festivity, championing women's voices and driving for positive change.

"Tourism is at the heart of Osceola County's economy, a dedicated sector that generates 40,000 employment opportunities for locals. Women within this industry are pivotal, raising the bar and ensuring Kissimmee remains a top vacation destination," said Misty Johantgen, Chief Operating Officer at Experience Kissimmee. “From small business owners to compassionate caretakers of wildlife, we honor the achievements of women in the tourism sector."

In observance of International Women's Day and Women's History Month, Experience Kissimmee has created a selection of woman-owned businesses and venues for visitors to explore and honor women's achievements throughout the month.
