Five Building Bricks For A Kid-Friendly LEGOLAND Adventure!

Millions of colorful bricks. Dozens of LEGO®-inspired rides, attractions, and shows. An all-new water park. Everything is awesome in LEGOLAND, Florida. That’s a fact.

If you’re visiting Central Florida with younger kiddos in tow, a day or two at this iconic theme park is a must. LEGOLAND was designed with kids aged 2-12 in mind, so the whole family can enjoy hopping onto the park’s various rides and attractions. Follow these steps for a day at LEGOLAND that’s as awesome as the theme park itself.

1. Pack Your Swimsuit

And your sunscreen! LEGOLAND isn’t only home to LEGO®-themed rides and attractions, the resort also houses a beautiful Water Park. Soak up fun under the sun in the Water Park’s wave pool, tube slides, and more. You can even build your own LEGO® raft for a lazy river cruise!

2. Don't Miss MINILAND USA

The MINILAND exhibit is something special for LEGO® lovers. LEGOLand recreated iconic scenes in California, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., and New York City with more than 32 million LEGO® bricks to bring the USA to life. There are also a few Star Wars scenes, so kiddos can travel from coast to coast and to a galaxy far, far away.

3. BYOB: Bring Your Own Bricks

If your LEGO® lovers have any mini figurines that aren’t getting as much play time as they used to, pack a few to bring to the park. Many of the LEGOLAND employees you’ll meet in the park are happy to trade. These make for fun, affordable souvenirs to take home!

4. Watch for Special Events

Check LEGOLAND Florida’s event calendar before you visit—if you’re around during certain times of year, you might catch some special structures. Star Wars Days in May, Fourth of July fireworks, and a “Christmas Bricktacular” are just some examples of unique events and spectacles held in LEGOLAND each year.

5. Leave Room for Apple Fries

LEGOLAND’s signature treat is Granny’s Apple Fries, and you simply must try them when you visit. Granny Smith apples, dusted in cinnamon sugar (along with some of LEGOLAND’s secret ingredients), served with vanilla cream dipping sauce? BRB, grabbing a serving for ourselves simply because we’re thinking about them.

LEGO® has always allowed the young (and young at heart) to tap into their creativity and build whatever they imagine. LEGOLAND Florida plays by the same rules. Use these tips to plan the ideal LEGOLAND adventure for your family, and we’ll see you soon!
