Ultimate Family Reunion Itinerary

If it’s been a while since the entire family got together, there’s no better spot to reconnect than right here in Kissimmee! Your next five days will be full of family fun and activities that everyone — from the very young to the very young at heart — is sure to love.

Day 1

Nurturing a love of Nature

Getting out and exploring the natural world is a must for any family reunion. And, luckily for you, Kissimmee puts the “great” in the great outdoors.

Wild Florida

Glide across the Headwaters of the Everglades on an airboat adventure with Wild Florida. You’ll explore protected swamps, marshes, and rivers while skilled captains share fascinating stories and history from right here in Central Florida. Keep your eyes peeled for amazing alligators and beautiful bald eagles while you’re here — they’ll be a highlight of your vacation.

Day 2

Flying High

A bird’s-eye view is the best way to see everything Kissimmee has to offer. That’s why today is the day you get to fly high in the sky.

Maverick Hot Air Balloon Adventures

The day starts with an early morning trip to Maverick Hot Air Balloon Adventures for a sunrise flight. Remember to bring your camera for some absolutely stunning photos of Central Florida’s natural beauty — as well as maybe a #SkyHighSelfie or two. Maverick Hot Air Balloon Adventures can carry eight passengers in a single balloon — meaning there’s plenty of room for everyone.

Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park

Your adventures in the sky continue as you go tiptoeing across the treetops at Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park. There are 97 different games and challenges here that’ll test experienced and rookie climbers’ skills. You’ll swing, soar, and sail through the sky on zip lines, trapeze, and more — all 50-feet atop a picturesque pine tree forest.

Day 4

The Most Magical Day on Earth

Big families all have different interests, and that’s a good thing! But one thing we think most families agree on is that no visit to Kissimmee is complete without a day at Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park

As the first Disney park to open every day, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the perfect place to start your adventure. Begin with an early trek across the African savanna with Kilimanjaro Safaris, where 34 different species live across 110-acres of authentic habitat. Then, celebrate the breathtaking beauty of Pandora – The World of Avatar, travel through time to rescue a dinosaur in a race against a meteor, and join in the Festival of the Lion King.
