The Staff at Kissimmee Sports Commission
With a total of over 80 years in the sports tourism and hospitality industries, our dedicated team at the Kissimmee Sports Commission has the expertise and excitement (dare we say, “sports fever?”) to ensure your next sporting event in Osceola County is a smash success.
Debby has nearly 30 years of experience within the hospitality industry, including 22 years at Experience Kissimmee. She has planned countless sporting events, meetings and conventions, and special events such as American Youth Football, Tough Mudder, Kissimmee Blue Skies Hot Air Balloon Festival, Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo, and the Quidditch World Cup.
As the Director of Sports Marketing and Development for the Kissimmee Sports Commission, John’s primary responsibility is to cultivate, develop, and enhance relationships with existing and prospective event rights holders in order to drive economic impact to the destination. He is also tasked with raising awareness of Kissimmee as the premier sporting destination through various marketing and sponsorship activations.
During his time at the commission, John has secured a number of new sporting events for the destination including Tough Mudder, FLW Walmart Tour, NXL World Cup, and Powerboat P1. He was also integral in securing the Orlando City Soccer Club partnership with Experience Kissimmee, and was recently named as one of Orlando Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Honorees.
A Central Florida native, Adam has over six years of sports tourism experience. He joins the Kissimmee Sports Commission as the Sports Development Manager, with previous stops at Disney Wide World of Sports, the Central Florida Sports Commission, and the Lake County Tourism Office.
Having worked with such events as the FHSAA Men’s and Women’s Golf State Championship, NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Golf National Championship, and USA Synchronized Swimming Junior Nationals, Adam brings a wealth of experience to the organization. His passion is youth and amateur sports, and he looks to use that passion to drive new and exciting events to Kissimmee.
Ashley has a degree in Event Management from the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and nearly 10 years of experience within the hospitality industry. Her responsibilities include working with event rights holders who have booked in the area to determine servicing requirements and to develop relationships that will encourage repeat bookings.

She has assisted with internal events and serviced various sporting events such as American Bass Anglers, ICAST on the Water, American Youth Football & Cheer, and the FHSAA Wrestling state finals.
While her role mainly focuses on providing services to sporting events, Kayla also works on Experience Kissimmee’s Tourist Development Grants program that provides support to events promoting tourism in Osceola County.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management and Hospitality Management from the Rosen College of Hospitality, Rebecca was able to start her career in the tourism industry immediately. She now has over two years of experience servicing events for destination marketing organizations.
Once a sporting event is booked in Kissimmee, Rebecca works with the main point of contact to ensure a successful event. This includes servicing the event from start to finish in order to provide the best possible experience for competitors and spectators alike.
