‘Kissimmee On-The-Go’ Video Series Launches to Share Industry’s Health, Safety Precautions
Kissimmee, Fla. (September 2020) – Experience Kissimmee recently launched its “Kissimmee On-The-Go” video series to share an inside look at its industry partners’ health and safety precautions with travel advisers and vacation dreamers, following the temporary closures due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In the first installment, Experience Kissimmee visits a Jeeves Florida Rentals vacation home to show many of the new precautions the rental company is taking: including contactless check-in upon arrival, virtual maintenance requests throughout the guest’s stay, 24-hour blocks between guest reservations, extra cleaning efforts on high-touch surfaces, grocery delivery, and more.
Next, the destination marketing organization for Osceola County visits Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center to see the hotel side of these procedures. A Marriott Hotel, Gaylord Palms’ staff members are required to go through Marriott’s “Commitment to Clean” training. As well as giving extra attention to high-touch surfaces while cleaning hotel rooms between guests, resort staff is constantly focusing on the cleanliness of the lobby and other common areas throughout the resort.
Experience Kissimmee returned to Walt Disney World Resort for the first time since its temporary closure for the Kissimmee On-The-Go series, visiting Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Walt Disney World is strictly enforcing guests to wear masks, social distance, and frequently wash or sanitize their hands. With guest safety as a top priority, some experiences throughout the Disney Parks are limited.
