Orlando International Airport (MCO) opens new Terminal C to the most visited destination in the country
Terminal C, MCO’s newest international terminal, encompasses 300 acres and adds 15 gates capable of accommodating up to 20 aircraft and includes informational video displays in the ticket halls, concession hub and gate areas plus interactive, immersive multimedia features that will provide high-definition visual entertainment. Designed for certification as one of the first LEED v4 airport campuses, Terminal C reflects Orlando International Airport’s (MCO) longstanding commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Meeting Hotel Expansions

Omni Resort at ChampionsGate Orlando Expansion Coming 2024
The resort will be expanding more than just horizons with the addition of 144 new sleeping rooms across 6 floors connecting to the main tower. This expansion would bring the Omni Resort to a total inventory of 1,006 rooms. Additionally, Omni Resort at ChampionsGate will add a unique off property experience: a golf entertainment venue. It will be a flexible indoor/outdoor bar and event space with an open concept and architectural simplicity blending with the beautiful landscape.


NEW! ette Hotel
Brand new luxury boutique hotel recently opened in Kissimmee. ette Hotel includes 126 rooms with state-of-the-art amenities like their 24 hour in-room dining, spa, and gym. Michelin Star Chef Akira Back brings his touch to the three-meal restaurant “Salt and the Cellar” and coffee shop “Ette Café.” ette also showcases a private room on the first floor that can accommodate up to 44 people, as well as a sixth floor LIPA rooftop area for food and beverage receptions for up to 44 guests.


Margaritaville Resort Orlando Expansion
Margaritaville Resort Orlando is already known for its fun, friendly, and convenient setting for all events. The resort boasts 40,000 total square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space, and the resort just got bigger! Margaritaville just completed its guestroom expansion in August 2022, adding 49 more rooms for a total of 263 and over 300 cottages.


Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Sunset Walk
Embassy Suites by Hilton-Orlando Sunset Walk, a new Condominium Hotel project at its Sunset Walk Resort adds a bookable social space for groups in the Oasis Beach Club. The club will share ground between Embassy Suites and Margaritaville Resort and allow 80-100 guests to soak up some sun and good food at the new Mango Moon Bar & Grill.


Meliá Orlando Hotel Celebration partnership with AdventHealth Nicholson Center
In this unique partnership, groups can book spacious guest rooms at the Meliá Orlando Hotel Celebration and utilize meeting space at the AdventHealth Nicholson Center, within walking distance. AdventHealth Nicholson Center features 5,600 sq-ft of state-of-the-art venues and hosts, training, symposia conferences, social, corporate events for up to 450 people through its AV-integrated customizable meeting spaces, executive boardrooms, and conference center. Located at AdventHealth Complex this facility offers an environment that brings together global professionals and raises the highest quality of meetings and events. Transportation is also provided by Meliá Orlando Celebration.


NEW brand, Delta Hotels Marriott Orlando Celebration
Find fun, relaxation and maybe even a little magic at Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration, formerly the Grand Orlando Resort at Celebration. Located in the quaint town of Celebration, FL, one mile from Walt Disney World®, the hotel offers 20 acres of lush, tropical gardens and a close location near all major theme parks, business hubs and highways of Orlando. The location houses 718 guest rooms and 10,000 sq ft meeting space. Renovations are now underway for conference center and guest rooms.


Renovations & New Openings at Reunion Resort & Golf Club
Reunion Resort just wrapped up an expansion project pertaining to its Tennis Centre. This expansion makes Reunion’s Tennis Centre home to six newly refurbished hydro-grid clay tennis courts, six dedicated pickleball courts, a miniature golf course, golf cart rentals for guests and a community pool. All great places to entertain your meeting and business groups. Additionally, Reunion reimagined its roof top restaurant, Eleven. The restaurant offers a variety of small plates and craft cocktails, as well as boasting a breathtaking panoramic view of Orlando, accompanied by live entertainment nightly. And if you plan your evening right, you may see the fireworks shows at nearby theme parks.

  • Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Aug. 12 – Oct. 31- The return of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off a fall full of fun at Walt Disney World Resort. The special ticket event is offered at Magic Kingdom Park on select nights after normal park hours from 7 p.m. to midnight.
  • “Stay a Spell: Broom & Breakfast” debuts at Encore Resort at Reunion, Sept. 1 – Nov. 1 – In partnership with Oriental Trading Company, three of the resort’s homes are festively decorated for the spooky season and are available for bookings. Plus, the resort has Halloween-themed activities available for guests all season long.
  • Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, Sept. 2 – Oct. 31 - This year includes six horrifying original concepts that complete this year’s lineup of 10 haunted houses, five sinister scare zones and two live shows. And for the first time ever, award-winning artist The Weeknd joins forces to inspire all-new, terrifying haunted house.
  • Gatorland Offers New Capybara Encounter - Embark on an adventure to Flamingo Island, where the capybaras Ben and Jerry swim, lay on the beach and enjoy the company of waterfowl, turtles and flamingos.
  • Meliá Orlando Suite Hotel at Celebration Announces 11th Anniversary Festivities in September – The resort is celebrating its 11th Anniversary as the first U.S. hotel of Spain-based Meliá Hotels and Resorts with special festivities for the entire month of September.
  • Goblins & Giggles at Gaylord Palms, Sept. 9 – Oct. 31 – Guests at the resort will have the opportunity to participate in 13 themed events, including monster dance parties, Ghoul School: interactive shows, character interactions and a Wicked Brews Spookeasy.
  • SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream Orlando, Sept. 9 – Oct. 31 – In its second year running, Howl-O-Scream 2022 features more coasters, more haunted houses, more scare zones, and more unexpected frights. SeaWorld Orlando is only scratching the surface, and guests will not know what will be lurking around every corner of the park.
  • Top Golf Fall Leagues Begin Sept. 12 - Topgolf Fall Leagues offers a fun and competitive environment, the opportunity to improve your golf skills and most of all, a great atmosphere to hang out with friends and make new ones.
  • ICON Park to host inaugural Oktoberfest celebration, Sept. 16 – Oct. 3 - ICON Park will offer special beer, food, and entertainment on Fridays from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 10 p.m. from Sept. 16 through Oct. 3. This celebration will be the perfect opportunity for meeting attendees to spend time together while enjoying traditional German experiences.
  • LEGOLAND® Florida Resort Brick or Treat presents Monster Party, Sept. 24 – Oct. 30 - This Halloween spectacular will bewitch families with amazing new experiences, live shows, spooky LEGO® decorations and monster mischief around every corner – all included with general park admission and select Annual Passes.
  • Scream n’ Stream Drive-Thru Haunt Moves to The Florida Mall, Oct. 1 – Oct. 31 - Guests will drive through seven unique horror movies, while scare actors, fog, lighting and more surround their car. There will also be a new space called “The Lobby” where guests get out of their cars to shop for exclusive merchandise and snacks, take selfies and videos with scare actors and try out some optional experiences.
  • Fun Spot offers HUGE Halloween event, Oct. 1 – Oct. 31 - To celebrate the fall season, Fun Spot will be adding a limited-time seasonal Fright Bites Menu, as well as colorful decorations and Trick or Treating events for children every Saturday and Sunday in October and on Halloween from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Outta Control Spooktacular Magic Dinner Show at WonderWorks, Oct. 1 – Oct. 31 - The magic dinner show is back for its second year and will run the entire month of October. Guests can expect new Halloween themed magic tricks, illusions, costumes, décor and more. Wonderworks staff will be serving guests in costume, and guests are encouraged to come dressed up as well.
  • Gators, Ghost and Goblins at Gatorland, Oct. 15-30 - Gatorland is set to welcome back its popular Halloween event. Many activities will be on the schedule, including themed haunt zones, interactive characters, animal meet-and-greets and the popular children’s Halloween Costume Parade with treat bags.
  • Orlando Magic Open 2022-23 Season at Detroit on Oct. 19 - The Orlando Magic will open the season on Wednesday, October 19, at Detroit (7 p.m. ET start). Their home season opener will be on Saturday, October 22 at 7 p.m. versus Boston Celtics at the Amway Center.
  • Country Thunder, Oct. 21, 22, 23 – The event is bringing some of the big names in country music to Kissimmee in late October. Headliners include Morgan Wallen, Jason Aldean, Chris Young and country greats like Phil Vassar, Tracy Lawrence, Clay Walker and so many more.
  • Halloween at Old Town, Oct. 31 - Attendees can bring family to celebrate the spookiest of holidays with free trick-or-treating, Thriller dancers and a costume contest. Free trick-or-treating is from 5 – 7 p.m. with candy stations throughout Old Town, and the costume contest commences at 7 p.m.


Food & Beverage Offerings

Meliá Orlando Celebration to Open The Wilson, in Partnership with IGC Hospitality
Meliá Orlando Celebration has announced plans to open a new restaurant on property, The Wilson. Owned and operated by In Good Company Hospitality (IGC), a New York-based restaurant group that oversees several venues across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, The Wilson is set to open in early summer 2022 and will operate all food and beverage throughout the hotel.

Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews announces new fall football-inspired specials
Football season-inspired eats are coming to Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews. New tasty treats include “Totchos,” a delightful Midwestern twist to tater tots; Meatloaf Melt, Mom’s delicious, glazed meatloaf, served on grilled Texas Toast; Chili Cheese Mac & Cheese, just like it sounds; and last, but certainly not least, top off any great meal with the Apple Pie Nachos.


Cowboy Chicken scheduled to open at Promenade at Sunset Walk Fall 2022
