Walt Disney World® Resort

At Pandora – The World of AVATAR, opening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® in 2017, visitors will be drawn into a world of awe-inspiring creatures and glowing bioluminescence. Attractions will include AVATAR Flight of Passage, where guests will fly on the back of a banshee, and boat ride attraction, Na’vi River Journey.

In a new Star Wars-themed land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios™ (the opening date is yet to be announced), guests will feel as though they walked into a saga of one of the famous movies. Star Wars characters and the world they live in will come to life with two main attractions—one where guests will get behind the controls of the Millennium Falcon, and another where they will be immersed in a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

Also on the horizon at Disney’s Hollywood Studios™: Toy Story Land. Travel “to infinity and beyond” and arrive in Andy’s backyard, shrunk to the size of a toy. Attractions will include Slinky Dog Dash, a family roller coaster attraction and Alien Swirling Saucers, where aliens try to capture the players’ rocket toy vehicle with “The Claw.”

Universal Orlando Resort™

In Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon, coming to Universal Studios Florida™ in 2017, guests will be transported to the famous Studio 6B and “The Tonight Show” to race against the show’s host, Jimmy Fallon. Inspired by some of the most outrageous celebrity races from the show’s popular segment, Jimmy will challenge riders in a wild, funny and unexpected race through one of the world’s greatest cities.

In 2018, thrill ride Fast & Furious: Supercharged will take guests into the world of underground racing. Through state-of-the-art ride technology, visitors will feel every turn and acceleration of the specially designed vehicle as the high-voltage world of one of the most successful film franchises of all time is brought to life.

LEGOLAND® Florida

LEGO NINJAGO® World, an immersive martial arts kingdom opening in early 2017, will feature groundbreaking technology with 3D computer animation and 4D atmospheric effects. On LEGO NINJAGO The Ride, riders will blast animated fireballs, lightning, shockwaves and ice using only their hands while traveling through dojos to defeat the game’s villain. The ride is the highlight of a new interactive land where kids will get hands-on experience honing skills possessed by their NINJAGO favorites—Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane and Nya.

Seaworld® Orlando

In the summer of 2017, the legendary Kraken coaster will transform into Kraken® Virtual Reality (VR) Roller Coaster, a one-of-a-kind VR coaster experience. A custom digital overlay with uniquely designed headsets, integrated both mechanically and electronically into the coaster train, will take guests on a deep sea mission alongside sea creatures inspired by extinct and legendary animals of the past, including the mighty Kraken.

Also in 2017, SeaWorld Orlando's Dolphin Nursery will gain large-scale acrylic windows and multiple levels that allow guests to get up close to mother and baby dolphins in all-new ways. Multi-purpose digital displays will also allow SeaWorld educators to share information about dolphin behavior, biology and conservation through educational and animal care videos.
