Take a drive through the wildlife at Wild Florida

Imagine – you arrive in Kissimmee, Florida for your family vacation and you’re ready to explore the wild side. The warmth of the Florida sun comes down and you look for something to do that hits all the basis of an adventurous spot.

So, where can you have wind in your hair, thrills with live alligators, and relaxing moments with the whole family? Look no further than Wild Florida! Keep reading for the top 10 things to do here at this outdoor adventure park.

1. Daytime Airboat Ride

First thing’s first – experiencing Florida’s natural wonders on an airboat ride sets the pace for the rest of the day. Glide through the water on this incredible boat with the wind in your hair and the headwaters to the Florida Everglades all around you. Spot wildlife such as alligators, different bird species, and more as you travel over the water.

2. Night Airboat Ride

While enjoying the airboat ride during the day is an amazing time, nighttime airboat rides offer a slightly different experience. These private tours of Florida’s nature are a truly unique moment where your family can watch the nightlife of the Everglades. More roaming gators and creatures come out to the surface and it’s definitely a sight to see.

3. Drive-Thru Safari

Take a break from the heat and drive thru the park’s safari! All you have to do is hop into your own vehicle and roam the trail of exotic animals. You’ll spot zebras, giraffes, and more wild animals from the safety (and AC) of your car.

4. Animal encounters

You may have been to a petting zoo, but these animal encounters take it to the next level! You can get up close and personal to several different animals, including sloths, alligators, ring-tailed lemurs, albino gator, porcupine, capybara, and tamandua. Albino alligators are one of the rarest animals roaming the world – there are only about 200! Their pink-white skin makes them susceptible to sunburns and their lack of camouflage puts them at a real disadvantage. And if you’ve never seen a capybara or tamandua before, you’ll learn so much about them when you visit!

5. Learn about Florida’s residents

Thinking about experiencing an animal encounter? Get to know a few facts about the animals before you go so you’ll be more acquainted!
