Restaurants

Kissimmee and Celebration restaurants weave a diverse and tantalizing tapestry of flavor. From casual family-operated cafés to upscale white-linen establishments, these spots serve up fresh international fare. Dig in to expand your culinary horizons.

Japanese

Ari Sushi

Dark wood accents, soft lighting and mellow music contribute to the deliciously soothing ambiance of Ari Sushi on Front Street in Celebration. Highly trained chefs transform fresh seafood into exquisite, edible art—from slices of grilled rare tuna steak fanned across a plate to signature California Dream rolls and dazzling, shareable “boat” combinations.

Thai

Thai Thani

Vibrant Thai cuisine, with customizable heat levels, is served in a cool Asian setting on Market Street in Celebration. Cooks from Thailand ensure that the culinary experience is authentic yet approachable—from classic Pad Thai to Sizzling Duck. Fresh seafood features include Three Taste Fish, a deep-fried whole snapper with zesty chili and garlic sauce.

Mexican

El Tenampa

The lively atmosphere of this colorful, mural-filled restaurant on U.S. Hwy 192 turns any meal into a fiesta. The ample menu showcases authentic, home-style cooking from the Jalisco region. One recommended entrée is the grilled arrachera (flank steak) and nopales (cactus). Timid eaters may request a sample of the surprisingly scrumptious cactus.

Spanish

Columbia

Located on Front Street, this sister location of Columbia in Ybor City—Florida’s oldest restaurant—brings old-world elegance and fine Spanish/Cuban cuisine to downtown Celebration. A tapas bar, outdoor café, courtyard and Mediterranean-style dining room offer gracious settings for lunch or dinner. Signature Paella “A la Valenciana,” presented in a traditional pan, is prepared from an old family recipe.

Middle Eastern

King O Falafel

Enjoy traditional foods from across the Middle East in this casual contemporary restaurant on U.S. Hwy 192. Authentic favorites range from hummus to gyros. A favorite nosh is the namesake falafel—crisply fried fritters made with spiced, crushed chickpeas—served as an appetizer or packed in a toasted flatbread sandwich topped with tahini.

Mediterranean

Nadia’s Café

This casual refined downtown eatery on Broadway in Downtown Kissimmee offers freshly prepared, ethnically diverse dishes from Greece and beyond. Tempting vegetarian and protein-based fare, including wraps, panini and salads, pleases every palate. For a healthful entrée, go for the juicy grilled chicken kebab; it’s rubbed with aromatic spices, which deliver big flavor with a modest calorie count.

Italian

Pacino’s Italian Ristorante | Café d’Antonio

Graze through Italy’s best flavors, including wood-fired pizza, in an atmosphere of relaxed refinement at Pacino’s on U.S. Hwy 192 or at Café d’Antonio on Front Street in Celebration. Pacino’s signature shrimp scampi combines swimmingly fresh sauteed shrimp with linguini and a white wine marinara sauce. At Café d’Antonio, try braised beef short ribs with a balsamic barbecue glaze.

Indian

Taste of Punjab

Put some spice in your life at this northern Indian restaurant known for friendly service, located on U.S. Hwy 192. While succulent meats roasted in traditional clay tandoor ovens are a main feature, vegetarians have numerous choices. Among the extensive menu’s exotic temptations, chicken tikka—cooked in fragrantly seasoned yogurt—remains the house favorite.

British

The Fox & Hounds

This cozy Tudor pub, located on W. Vine Street, delivers hospitality with an English accent. Lift a pint, play darts and savor British specialties with the locals. Traditional tastes include familiar fish and chips, and more unusual Scotch eggs. Rich stewed beef topped with creamy mashed potatoes makes the shepherd’s pie a comfort food favorite.
