Make A Splash at Kissimmee's Water Parks

The area’s water parks will shower you with fun. Enjoy spectacular encounters with sea creatures, adrenaline-pumping water slides and gentle floats on lazy rivers.

Disney's® Typhoon Lagoon

This water park is a tropical paradise of lazy rivers and surging waterways. Experience nine water slides, including Humunga Kowabunga—a five-story water slide in the dark; relax along Castaway Creek; share a trip down Keelhaul Falls or splash away in the children’s play area. Surfing enthusiasts can head to the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool and thrill-seekers can snorkel with sharks in the Shark Reef.

Disney's® Blizzard Beach

A wonderland of raft rides and plunges modeled after a ski resort, Blizzard Beach features the Chairlift, which travels up to the top of Mount Gushmore. From there take the Summit Plummet, a body slide down a 12-story “ski jump” and Slush Gusher, a 90-foot water slide over hills. Board a group inner tube at Teamboat Springs for a drenching whitewater adventure. And head to Tike’s Peak for slower, kid-friendly water slides.

Universal's Volcano Bay™ Water Theme Park

This summer, Universal Orlando Resort™ will open a new 53-acre immersive water park inspired by idyllic tropical islands and offering both thrills and relaxation. Its centerpiece: a smoking volcano that towers over a tropical landscape and contains multiple slides. Other attractions include a wave lagoon, a rafting adventure, a winding river and a rapids ride.

Aquatica, SeaWorld's Waterpark™

Aquatica combines animal encounters with high-speed water slides, raft rides and sandy beaches. Dolphin Plunge® takes you down a pair of clear tubes under water and through Aquatica’s habitat for Commerson’s Dolphins. Ihu’s Breakaway Falls™, the newest attraction, is an eight-story-high, multi-drop slide that sends riders plummeting down twisting chutes. Two areas cater to little ones: Walkabout Waters has a 60-foot-tall rain fortress and Kata’s Kookaburra Cove® features a beginner-level body slide and water spouts.

LEGOLAND® Water Park

Here, you’ll find water slides and a wading pool for little ones, plus a slow-flow river, wave pool and plunging slides for older family members. With Build-a-Raft River, families can craft their own LEGO raft and float down the lazy river. Or they can head to Twin Chasers, an intertwining pair of enclosed water slides that end with a pool splash. The LEGO® Wave Pool has waves suited to all ages. Kids 5 and under reign at the DUPLO® Splash Safari water play area.

Water Park Fun Facts

• Aquatica’s beaches are packed with more than 3 million pounds of soft, white sand covering more than 80,000 square feet.

• Volcano Bay™ will introduce at least two firsts: Ko’okiri Body Plunge will plummet 125 feet at 70 degrees and be the world’s first slide to travel through a pool filled with guests. Maku, which sends multi-passenger rafts speeding around three saucer-shaped curves, will be North America’s first “saucer ride.”

• Blizzard Beach has over 23 super-fun water slide chutes and lanes.

• The wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon holds 3 million gallons of water and produces six-foot waves.

• The bucket that spills water on guests wading in the Joker Soaker pool in LEGOLAND® Water Park contains 300 gallons.
