Even though your family may be far apart right now, you might just find that something as simple as a word search can bring you a little bit closer.

In fact, for many, coloring can almost be meditative — putting the “Om” in “Home vacation.”

Make Some Kissimmee-Inspired Treats
If all this fun is making you hungry, we have the perfect recipes to satisfy every sweet tooth! Whether you want to get in the kitchen with the whole family or bake something up as a special surprise, these Kissimmee-inspired treats are sure to be a hit.
Enjoy a snacking safari adventure with these treats that are a little bit sweet, a little bit salty, and a whole lot of delicious!
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 1 cup of white chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp of vegetable shortening
- A package of pretzel rods
- Dark chocolate chips for drizzling
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then microwave your cup of white chocolate chips and vegetable shortening in a small, microwave-safe bowl for about a minute. Your bowl should be uncovered. Afterwards, stir your melted chips until they’re smooth. If you find some of the chips have maintained their shape, microwave them again for about 10 seconds. Repeat this process until your mixture is smooth.
Take your pretzel rods and dip them into your white chocolate mixture. We like to dip them in about three inches, but part of the fun here is experimenting — there’s no wrong way to dip!
Now, take two tbsp of your dark chocolate chips and place them in a resealable plastic bag. Microwave them for about 30 seconds and knead the bag. Repeat as necessary until your chips are completely melted. Then, take a pair of kitchen scissors and cut a fine tip off the corner of the bag. Squeeze the bag to drizzle your melted chocolate chips over your dipped pretzel rods, and just like that, your zebra has its stripes!
Refrigerate your pretzel rods for about 20 minutes, and they’ll be ready to enjoy. These can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature, and will keep for a few days — though they’ll probably be gobbled up a lot sooner than that.
Bring LEGOLAND Florida home with these delicious brownies that will have the whole family singing “Everything tastes awesome!”
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- 1 box of brownie mix (and all the ingredients it calls for)
- 1 can of vanilla frosting
- Food coloring (red, yellow, blue, green)
- Mini M&Ms
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Start by preheating your oven to 350°. While you’re waiting, line a 9-x-9-inch pan with parchment paper and use cooking spray to grease it. Following the instructions provided with your brownie mix, prepare your batter and pour it into your pan. When your oven is ready, bake your brownies for 30 minutes. To check if they’re done, stick a toothpick into their center. If the toothpick comes out clean, your brownies are ready.
Once your brownies have completely cooled, slice them into square and rectangular shapes. Now’s the fun part — decoration time! Divide your vanilla frosting into four bowls. Then, use your food coloring to dye each bowl of frosting to your desired color. Frost the top of each brownie, using the different colors, then add color-coordinated M&Ms for that authentic LEGO look. Remember, four candies for your square brownies, and six candies for your rectangular ones.
