Experience Kissimmee – Like a Local

Kissimmee is a world-class tourism destination, attracting visitors from around the world to spend time at our theme parks and other attractions. But how do the people who live here like to spend their time? If you're looking for authentic Kissimmee experiences, here are some suggestions:

Big John's Rockin' BBQ. Get incredible barbecue with a home-town feel at Big John's Rockin' BBQ in Kissimmee. The owner, "Big" John Glover, has been developing his unique barbecue for years, and crafts home-made sauces from locally sourced ingredients. You'll feel like you're at a round-the-clock barbecue cookout that's both delicious and fun!

Celebration Bike Rental. Grab a bike and take a tour of Celebration, a master-planned community in Osceola County. Prize-winning architects commissioned by the Walt Disney Company created the community's master plan and designed many of the buildings. With its small-town feel and charming homes and shops, Celebration is a memorable place to explore. In addition to picturesque neighborhoods along a beautiful lake, you can look at natural wildlife along winding trails and waterfront paths.

Take a bike tour of Celebration.

Celebration Town Tavern. After your bike ride, pay a visit to the Celebration Town Tavern, a neighborhood gathering spot patterned after a New England tavern. You'll find it right across from the lake, and inside you'll be able to enjoy seafood, steaks, and much more in a warm and casual atmosphere.
