Every Day is Ice Cream Day

Tomorrow we can eat veggies, today is for ice cream.

The Kissimmee ice cream scene is hotter than ever! With so many places to indulge in, you can get back to your diet when you get home. You can walk off the calories at our world-famous attractions, so go ahead get another scoop or two - treat yo'self!

While visiting Kissimmee you'll find all sorts of water activities to cool off, from water parks to kayaking in the headwaters of the Everglades, but how about cooling off with a frozen dessert?

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed July as National Ice Cream Month and established National Ice Cream Day to be the third Sunday in the month of July. This year's National Ice Cream Day falls on July 16th, so come discover some of Kissimmee's frozen favorites here and get ready for the ultimate sugar rush.  

Abracadabra Ice Cream Factory

Poof - ice cream! Abracadabra uses liquid nitrogen to flash freeze your very own ice cream creation within seconds, right before your very own eyes. With temperatures reaching 328 below zero, this is sure to be a cool treat!

Coquitos Ice Cream Shop

A modern ice cream/coffee shop with unique, homemade ice cream with exotic flavors. Regulars of this shop say the ice cream is truly reminiscent of those found on beach carts in the Caribbean. Kilwins Celebration

Sweet Dreams Ice Cafe

Sweet dreams are made of this! This shop in Old Town USA features delicious homemade ice cream, banana split cheesecake, freshly baked cookies and the Americana feel of an old ice cream shop.

Sprinkles Ice Cream is a brand new, but already beloved addition to Disney Springs. Handcrafted using organic California dairy and carefully selected ingredients, Sprinkles is slow churned to incorporate less air resulting in a densely creamy and intensely flavorful ice cream experience.

Erin McKenna's Bakery

Dairy-free and gluten-free can be delicious! Located at Disney SpringsTM, this bakery selects ingredients responsibly and keeps in mind those who cannot eat gluten, dairy, those who have soy sensitivity and most importantly, children with allergies who cannot always treat themselves. An oldie but a goodie! Culver's has a reputation worldwide for their signature combination: Culver's ButterBurgers and Fresh Frozen Custard. Every luscious batch of frozen custard is made daily throughout the day using the same recipe George and Ruth Culver created in 1964.
