So, you’ve decided to surprise the family with an unforgettable vacation to Kissimmee. Congratulations on winning the holidays! Your gift is sure to be a hit. After all, there are so many wonderful things to do right here in Kissimmee—from iconic amusement parks to fun in the sun—that you may never want to leave (we can’t say we blame you). So you have the tickets, the accommodations are booked (and if they’re not, get started now!) there’s only one thing left to do—share the good news! Whether you’re looking for a simple way to say “surprise!” or you want to go all out for the big reveal, here are a few of our favorite ways to wrap a Kissimmee vacation under the tree this holiday season

The Hunt is on!

What better way to spend Christmas morning than on a scavenger hunt? You can watch as the little ones put the clues together and get closer and closer to the final prize on their journey—the news that soon they’ll be visiting us right here in Kissimmee for a fun-filled vacation full of magic, thrills, and memories to last a lifetime! To keep excitement high, make sure there are little gifts and clues along the hunt. Oh, and be prepared for screams of joy when all is said and done!

Piece it Together!

A family exchanges gifts on Christmas morning

Putting together a puzzle on Christmas morning is a tradition for many families, and it’s one that can include a huge surprise with a little do-it-yourself ingenuity! Why not create your own personalized jigsaw puzzle for the family to unwrap underneath the tree this year? Then, your exciting Kissimmee vacation will be revealed when all the pieces come together! Maybe it’s a puzzle with a palm tree by the water, or an alligator from Gatorland wearing a Santa Claus hat, or simply a message that says “Happy Holidays! We’re going to Kissimmee!” No matter the message, the result will be the same—a lot of happy faces around the Christmas tree. Need some tips on how to make your jigsaw puzzle? Look no further!

Balloons!

Sometimes, nothing says “Surprise!” better than opening a giant box full of helium balloons—especially if those balloons are shaped like certain well-known characters who call the theme parks near Kissimmee home! Once the thrill of opening the balloon box wears off for the little ones, the realization that they’re going on vacation is sure to get them excited all over again! At this point, we would suggest you make sure you have the coffee brewing so you can keep up with their enthusiasm.

Make the Holiday Season a Theme (With an Amazing Finale)

We love the way a good story comes together, especially when it involves presents! A great way to surprise your loved ones with a vacation to Kissimmee is to also surprise and delight them with other gifts until they start to notice a pattern. Maybe it starts with our favorite Kissimmee-themed treats and chocolate oranges (Orange-flavored chocolate? Sound like the best of both worlds to us!) followed by a new bathing suit and sunscreen (a curious choice for December). Then, maybe it’s an autograph book. Everybody knows you need an autograph book when you visit a theme park—after all, you never know who you might run into! There’s no doubt everyone is getting excited now, but maybe their very own Mickey or Minnie Mouse ear hat will be the icing on the cake. Finally, ask what all these presents have in common and watch as their faces light up. A friendly tip from people who have seen this kind of excitement before, you’ll want to have your camera on hand to capture the moment the lightbulb goes off and everyone realizes that there’s a fantastic vacation in their future.

Now that you have a few ideas on how to surprise your loved ones with a dream vacation this Christmas, it’s time to start planning the big reveal! After all, once the planning is done, then the fun can begin! Happy holidays!
