Break Free from the Chain on Mom and Pop Business Owners Day

March 29th is Mom and Pop Business Owners Day. It’s a day honoring small business owners, who play a vital part in making communities unique.

In Kissimmee, our local restaurants are the heart and soul of the area. From causal family-operated cafes to upscale establishments, these spots serve up unforgettable fare.

Whether you’re here for Mom and Pop Business Owners Day or planning a trip, check out our favorite locally owned restaurants.

The Catfish Place

If you’re looking for a taste of old Florida, venture into The Catfish Place. The menu boasts fresh native cuisine like frog legs, alligator, turtle and, of course, catfish caught daily from local lakes.
