Kissimmee On-The-Go SeaWorld Parks & Resorts Orlando

SeaWorld Parks & Resorts are now open and invite you to join in on their fun! All of the friendly animals at SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove miss seeing you and are excited to welcome you back. There are rides to be ridden, food to be eaten, and your favorite animals to be seen. This helpful questions and answers guide comes in handy on your next trip to Central Florida.
Q: Where do you have to wear a mask?
A: SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove are taking every precaution to keep you and your family safe while visiting. Everyone over the age of 2 must wear a face covering. For the little ones younger than 2 years, they’re not required to wear a mask. Masks must be worn at all times except while eating and drinking, or in the relaxation areas throughout the parks. They must cover the nose and mouth and can’t contain valves, mesh, or holes. Although Halloween is right around the corner, costume masks aren’t allowed either.
Q: What are the precautionary measures in public spaces throughout the parks?
A: There are many ways these parks are ensuring your proper care and safety. For instance, signage and markings are installed to promote physical distancing throughout the parks. When entering the parks, touchless turnstiles greet you to avoid hand contact. You’ll notice that lounge chair seating is also modified. When making transactions at shops, booths, and food locations, plexiglass will be between you and the employee. Also, all high-traffic areas are cleaned regularly, and hand sanitation stations are located all over the parks.
Q: Are there restaurants open on property?
A: Across the parks, you’ll notice that restaurant seating is arranged to accommodate physical distancing. Utensils will be prepackaged, and single-use paper menus will be used. Prepackaged food and more grab-and-go options are available as well. Discovery Cove continues to offer the unlimited food and drink plans. From incredibly fresh breakfast items and delectable signature entrees to all-day snacks and beverages, they have it all. You can either choose from the buffet-style service or a la carte items.
Q: How are the animals being protected against the virus?
A: Their incredible team of health experts continue to monitor the virus developments and are following the American Veterinary Medical Association and the CDC. Their veterinarians closely watch the animals and evaluate them on a daily basis. Teams that work with the animals use additional protective equipment.
Q: How does social distancing work in queue lines?
A: All rides are clearly marked for physical distancing in the queue lines and you’ll find modified seating while experiencing each ride.
Q: Are shows and character meet-and-greets currently open?
A: Although some animal exhibits remain closed, you can still enjoy some of the rides and attractions you love – just with new seating arrangements and schedules. Some of the parades and meet-and-greet locations are temporarily closed but you can still meet Sesame Street characters on their floats! Animal exhibits are open with one-way directional markings. Some portions of the exhibits are closed due to the small spaces, but you can always get another look at your favorite animals from afar. For the shows, some rows are blocked off and you’ll be dismissed according to section when it concludes to avoid the mass rush. For updates, you can always check this web page for information.
