Experience Kissimmee Illustration Guidelines

Bringing our brand to life

Illustrations play a crucial role in our visual storytelling, adding personality and depth to our brand. They help complex ideas in a simple, engaging manner and enahce the overall aesthetic of our communications.

1

Style

Experience Kissimmee Illustrations

Experience Kissimmee’s illustration style is fun, friendly, and playful. Our color palette really shines through in our illustrated pieces with the use of analogous tints and shades that provide flexibility as well as consistency within the color scheme.

While elements remain flat with no outlines, the use of color and layering different tones helps to create depth and perspective. We also use subtle opacities to incorporate contextual elements into backgrounds, whether it be our EK logomark, content-related patterns, or other relevant shapes.

For content with space or color limitations, we use icons or line-based drawings.

2

Content

Illustration Content

The content of our illustrations varies based on specific needs. Whether for social media, events, or internal communication, the subject matter includes various travel and destination-related imagery. We showcase food and drink, animals, theme parks, attractions, and more.

3

Characters

Illustration Characters

Experience Kissimmee has three main animal characters featured throughout our social media channels, select events and partner-facing creative. Our alligator is named Lenny, our sloth’s name is Bruce and our Spoonbill is named Rosie. We showcase them as needed to maintain brand consistency and cohesiveness when relevant.

Additional Illustrative Elements

specific content.
