This July 4th marks 241 years of American dreams, and the celebration won’t be the same without you! For this special occasion, there’s no place we’d rather be than right here at home in Kissimmee, head of the Florida Everglades and the heart of our 4th of July celebrations. We’ve got local food trucks, music, fanfare, and festivities all calling your name. Let’s celebrate our American Independence Day in patriotic style, while enjoying the most unforgettable fireworks and family fun available this side of Lake Toho. There’s more than one venue to visit this 4th of July weekend.

Celebrate Downtown

Get ready for a monumental 4th of July celebration at Kissimmee Lakefront Park, where you can find the Monument of States, a 50-foot tower made with blocks of granite, chunks of quartz, small boulders, fossils, and pieces of old buildings from all over the country. It’s a whole lot of America in one tall place! On the shores of the legendary Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho), spend the night enjoying live music by Diamond Dixie, Doubting Abby, Rico Monaco & the Sol Sons Band, Rose Royce, and comedian Michael Winslow. When you’re hungry, visit the many food trucks, get some cold drinks and beer. Don’t worry about the kids—there’s plenty of entertainment for them too. It all culminates with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. 5  - 9:30 p.m. on July 4th. Join the party here

This charming community is putting on a 4th of July ‘Celebration’ that’s out of this world! Come dressed as your favorite superhero or sci-fi star for “A Sci-Fi 4th of July.” Beautiful downtown Celebration, Florida, is the perfect backdrop to your Independence Day—just watch out for those aliens! A costume contest at 7 p.m. will determine the best-dressed, so don’t skimp on the wardrobe. There are prizes on the line, after all. Cosmic kids will have bounce houses to conquer, jousting matches to win, face painting to accent their costumes, and a whole slew of activities provided by the Town Center’s KidZone. All will enjoy the live music by Katty Shack, Gina Maria Inacandela, DJ Tami, and be inspired by the patriotic music from The Dixieland Jazz Band. A grand finale fireworks spectacular set to a sci-fi soundtrack will cap off the night and send everyone home in high spirits. 4 - 11:30 p.m. on July 4th. Celebration is the place to be.

If your idea of a star-spangled celebration is laid-back and includes a lakefront beach, then the St. Cloud Lakefront is the place to be. Live music, food, and games for the whole family to enjoy. Why not grab something to eat at Crabby Bill’s Seafood Restaurant—the outside seating will give you a perfect view of the Marina where the fireworks are set off. If you’re not in the mood for seafood, bring a beach chair or blanket and watch the fireworks explode over East Lake Toho from the public beach. 4 - 10 p.m. on July 4th. Find the St. Cloud details.

Don’t forget to bring your pups! Man’s best friend loves a good celebration too.
