Our adventure took us to far away lands, and yet we were still able to stay right here in Kissimmee.
On her 21st birthday, an all-American girl and champion rider discovers that she is actually the Princess Scheherazade. Along with her genie Abracadabra, Princess Scheherazade takes the audience on a magical journey around the world to find her prince – who must love horses as much as she does. Along the way she encounters evil, beautiful unicorns, and people from all over the world.
As part of our anniversary trip, my husband and I have several dinner shows scheduled, the first of which was Arabian Nights. The pre-show included an appetizer buffet, the "bazar" and a belly dancer. It was definitely an awesome opening to what would be a great night all around. We took part in the VIP experience which included a backstage tour of the stables, getting up close with the horses who star in the show. The horses were so beautiful.
After a few photos, we headed to our preferred seating (part of the VIP experience package) and picked the meal we wanted to enjoy as we went on the journey. I chose the pulled pork and my husband chose the pot roast. Both were very generous servings and each entree comes with steamed veggies, mashed potatoes, and a dinner roll. The pot roast also had puff pastry. To be honest, I couldn't even eat my entire meal, it was a lot of food, so make sure you go hungry. We also had endless water (though you could choose other drinks) and the dessert choice was chocolate or vanilla cake.
The story was sweet with some suspenseful moments. With beautiful horses, amazing stunts, and maybe even a unicorn, Arabian Nights is a show you won't likely forget. There are different packages to choose from, customizations you can add to each package so you can make it perfect just for you. Arabian Nights is wonderful for kids and adults alike. So take your trip to a far away land the next time you are in the Kissimmee area.
**Thank you to Arabian Nights for hosting us**
