Whether you live in Central Florida or are here simply to vacation, the destination's abundance of family-friendly options never disappoint. From small town parades to live music and spectacular firework displays, choosing a destination to celebrate our nation's independence has never been this easy.

In Kissimmee, you not only have ample options for how you celebrate Independence Day, but also three great options with no admission fee. Bring the family out, enjoy the beautiful Central Florida sunshine, scarf down some burgers and make memories with your loved ones.

Celebration, Florida is planning an All-American 4th of July, which begins with a 9 a.m. parade around town. Then fun continues at 4 p.m. with live music at the Town Center, including DJ Joe Magic, the Celebration Community Chorus and country music star Mac McAnally. A fireworks show will light up the sky and wrap up the day's events at 9:15 p.m.

The City of Kissimmee is putting on their annual Monumental 4th of July celebration with street performers, live music, activities for the kids and a fireworks show over Lake Tohopekaliga. The fun starts at 5 p.m. and will include live performance from Doubting Abby, The Supervillains, Ken-Y, Tone Loc and Soul Asylum. Be sure to stick around and watch an amazing fireworks display at 9:35 p.m. following the musical performances.

The City of St. Cloud is throwing their day-long Lakefront Fourth of July festivities with vendors and exhibitors from all over Florida. Music and food will also be aplenty throughout the even guaranteeing a day of fun for the family. And it wouldn't be a Fourth of July celebration without fireworks so expect St. Cloud to light up the sky come nightfall.

For those looking to celebrate from the comfort of a resort, look into the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate and Reunion Resort. Both resorts are offering exclusive events for guests staying on property. From grilling out by the pool to magnificent firework displays at night, these resorts are perfect for celebrating Independence Day.

If a fireworks show isn't enough to capture how you feel about America's independence ('Merica!), use the day to visit one of the four neighboring theme parks. Whether you're looking to spend the day choosing a wand at Diagon Alley, hang out with the main mouse in a Castle, or riding Orlando's tallest and fastest roller coaster, you will definitely get your Fourth of July fix of thrills at any of the theme parks.
